Love this new location! It's huuuge, loads of stock, but best of all VERY well organised and not picked through and tossed around. The employees are happy to help you in your quest. The patrons are very civilised. I was surprised at some of the upmarket brands I came across (including British labels, yay!) and quality home goods. The new store is clean and organized. The aisles, however, are barely wide enough to fit two carts. You have to be very careful when passing by a shopper going the opposite direction. My biggest complaint is the store was uncomfortably warm/hot. When I asked a worker about the temperature of the store she said the employees are hot too (she had perspiration on her face) and that corporate controls the temperature of the building. I also talked to a manager, Kylie, who was very friendly and pleasant. He said an AC person had been to the store and said there wasn't much to do to override the temperature setting. Here's my message to corporate: The vast majority of your customers are women mostly 40 and older and we get hot easily. If you want us to take our time shopping in your stores, you need to make them more comfortable! My friend and I did not linger and look at everything because we were too hot! Do NOT BE CHEAP when it comes to making your stores comfortable or you will lose business! Just because it is cold in New Jersey doesn't mean it's cold in Louisiana because it isn't! It was 77 degrees at 8:00 that morning and well into the 80's by the time we were in your store. Again, if your customers are not comfortable they will not stay and shop! read more

I love this store and shopped there for the majority of the decor/kitchen ware/bedding/outdoor furniture when we recently purchased our new home. The variety is obviously plentiful. The store is clean and so are the restrooms. I'd always run into the same employees every time I shopped. However they weren't friendly. So I stopped shopping there and exchanging our hard worked money for goods. I now either drive to the Southshore, Baton Rouge or wait until I go home(Dallas) to shop. After several unfriendly workers and just downright rude associates, I resisted the urge to splurge at this particular location. I'm a stay at home mom and would just shop until I dropped there. You'd think they'd be nice and learn their most prized customers names after awhile. I digress! read more

So I had some time to kill today before a luncheon and thought 15 minutes would be sufficient to go on a browse-about Home Goods. They're part of the T.J.Maxx/Marshalls fam, and I may be mildly obsessed with the deals I've found at both said places. It's not the fanciest. Walking in, I wasn't initially impressed. I would suggest NOT bringing children that require a heavy dose of Adderall to function since the first couple of shelves to the left are straight glass sculptures, vases, bowls, flowers, more glass, glass, glass. I feel bad for whoever has to take the feather duster through those bad boys once a day. Ya know when you go to that friend's house that has their walls covered in artwork and things sitting on their shelves and atop furniture that has very little sentimental value, it's just part of the decor? That's totally cool, and they'd love these aisles of faux coral under a glass vase or a metal sign that says Blessed, but this isn't really my bag. They've also got packaged food goods that you get people you don't really know that goes to the back of their spice cabinet only to be opened when the Apocalypse is upon us. Only then will you receive the thank you note for the "cinnamon-spiced canned pecans" with an expiration date of never. This Home Goods then begins to stir a sense of desire once I start hitting those back aisles. "Oh...those light teal drawers are quite cute, and would look wonderful in my office. $99 ain't bad" "I've been wanting a blue garden stool for the patio. And only $30!" "So many amazing bath mats, so soft, and only $20!" "MY DOGS DEFINITELY NEED THIS INDESTRUCTIBLE SHARK for $5!" Ok, ok...So maybe I'm going to have to go back with a U-Haul, and 15 minutes was an understatement of time to devote to this place. If you're in need of some great deals for duh, Home Goods, I would definitely pop in here, but go in with a list and a mission or you'll be MIA for days! read more

This is a great store packed with a ton of what my dad used to call "dustables" because they more or less just sit and collect dust. They do, however have a decent selection of sheets but you kind of have to pick around, it's not like a big department store where they have a ton of sheets in every imaginable color. You know what though, that's something I like about home goods, it's almost like mining for gold. You might hit the jackpot and find the perfect thing at a great price or up may strike out and leave empty handed. One thing I have to agree with from Morgan F's review is that you need a decent chunk of time to adequately see everything in this store. It's a fairly large store but I found everything to be organized and it was easy to navigate between different sections. Something big for me was that they have the most amazing pillow selection. I've been trying to find some for my couch for ages but I'm picky. They have to be durable and have removable washable covers because I have two large dogs. I have written reviews for several TJ Maxx locations (and some updates) but none have had anywheres near the selection they had here. They also have a great selection of candles, I definitely recommend checking this location out next time you are on the north shore. read more

I absolutely love HomeGoods. They have a great selection of home decor as well as furniture, rugs, etc. I like coming here for birthday presents because they always have something that you can't really find anywhere else. The location is in the center of Mandeville and I never have a difficult time getting there or parking. Check it out if you haven't before. read more

Love love love this store. Always helpful people on hand. Always friendly staff when I go to check out. Always great stuff and deals to discover. I go here probably once a month but everytime I go in I find something that I absolutely cannot live without. I got the HomeGoods credit card and I am constantly getting $10 certificates to use in the store. Probably my favorite store to go to. read more
