They also have limited hours which can be a problem for anyone who works and/or has a busier schedule. The only day I can visit is Saturday and they close at 4pm even on that day. They are closed on Sunday. The prices are reasonable for a thrift store and they have half off based on the color of some tags. I did find one item half off. A fun storage container. I got a cute top to to wear with leggings for $3. They have a small room in the back that is called the vintage room. There were a few, nice pieces but they were all very small sizes. They were okay prices but maybe a smidge high for thrifting. That selection was a little disappointing but maybe it's better on other days. They had a big table of Dunkin' Donuts bagged coffee and pods at really good prices but it was all pumpkin spice which really isn't my thing but if it's yours, you should head over (this is as of 2/4/23)! I may visit again and check if they sometimes get in other flavors. Have cash on-hand or be prepared to pay an additional 4% fee to use a debit or credit card. The store isn't that big and I was there on a Saturday, so it was rather crowded and I had to stand in line about 10-15 minutes because there was only one register. That's not a complaint because this is a small, charity thrift store. I bet the 2 or 3 ladies I saw who appeared to being working there are volunteers. I just want to people you know what to expect, so of you are in a big hurry, you may want to skip going until you have a little more time. The neighborhood in Mandeville where it's located is a walkable area with a couple of restaurants right down the street, The Rusty Pelican and Hambone. Free public parking lot is directly across the street from Gran's if you can't find a spot on the street. If you like thrifting, you should check out Gran's if you are in the neighborhood.

Was promised points on my account when hidden damage was observed on a piece of furniture after it…read more was loaded onto my vehicle. The "manager", Sarah. Saw it and said she would put points on me card because of the damage. I asked how many points ts it would be and was told it would be ten. I asked if that would be ten dollars and she said no. Every point was worth ten dollars. I said that would be 100 dollars then and she said yes. If these poi ts had not been promised I would have asked for a refund. They have not been added to my account. When I went to the cashier on a subsequent trip, I didn't even have ten dollars.to use I asked for Sarah and was told she wasn't there but she was called. She said I had .misunderstood her about the value of the points. My husband and I both heard her promise 100 in points. We are both competent people who understand the English language language. Saying I misunderstood was insulting. I attempted to complain via email to her supervisor but it was intercepted by Sarah by Sarah. She responded with the same claim that I misunderstood her. I have not been there since then. They have lost a customer of yarn years because of this manager.

I love Redoux, as I can always find something unique to buy for myself or as a gift. Most gifts…read morethat I give come from this store. Lately I have found that the two ladies who work there are less than helpful or friendly. They act like you are bothering them. Also, Redoux always did free wrapping for you in a white bag with some tissue paper, nothing fancy. Now they charge 2.50 per gift. I totally understand that with the cost of supplies. I asked the lady with gray hair at the register if I could at least get the Redoux sticker to put on my own white gift bag and she told me it would be 2.50 for the small sticker. I explained I liked for the person to know that the store is wonderful so it might encourage them to shop there. I wasn't looking for a freebie but a way to advertise their business. Oh well, I will continue to shop there to support local, but the customer service could use some improvement.

Oh, hello there locally owned jewelry shop of my dreams…read more I received a beautiful watch as a gift recently and it needed a few links removed to fit just right. I called Champange Jewelers since they are very close to my workplace and also locally owned. I love supporting local businesses whenever I can. I was informed they could remove links for around $13 and could do it while I waited. Perfect, right? Here's what they didn't tell me. Removing links takes just long enough for you to browse (and by browse I mean gasp) and ohh and ahh (and by ohh and ahh I mean nearly faint) at all the pretty little things under the glass here. I had no idea I NEEDED an aquamarine ring that will cost me upwards of $7000 but I do now. I really wish I hadn't seen those diamond earrings that I'm putting on my wish list as we speak, but I did and it's on now, baby. I was barely able to drag myself out of here once my links were removed...which I might add were perfectly done. P.S. Sorry about the drool on your cases you had to clean up when I finally did go.

I was almost intimidated to go…read morein and ask for repairs on two inexpensive pieces that my friends brought to me for repair (I do craft beading and know how to solder) but it was beyond my capabilities. But the folks at Champagne couldn't be more cordial and welcoming even though it wasn't a big ticket repair. They called me to let me know when everything was ready and let's just say, it was priced more than fairly!! Very pleased with my experience and would not hesitate to recommend their customer service...and their jewelry...exquisite!! Rarely have I seen such quality and creative pieces - and I'm a vintage jewelry collector!! Highly recommend that you walk in and look around. Champagne Jewelers has a no-pressure approach and a beautiful showroom with everything from High School Grad rings that I would be proud to wear, to the most delicate pearl and gemstone sets. I'm buying something for $4 and she's saying "because $4 is so hard to find" like she's making fun of me to my face. She is speaking loud enough for everyone to hear us, but when I look at her face, which is two inches away from mine, her wild eyes are darting around and looking everywhere but at me. She is asking me "so are you gonna buy it" five times in a row like she's about to kick me out the store . She is Flinging her arms and hands around in my face . I thought she might strike me how close she was to me with her motions , rushing me to get away from the counter. Extremely unprofessional and unhinged , stomping off towards the back , and then returning to the front desk to open the closed lane since I'm standing there at the counter looking at an item to purchase, I'm not allowed to be taking my time. Ok so she opens up the other register just to move me out of the way. Flinging the next customers dress on top of the counter and in my face . Ok , seems like a MH breakdown happening in real time while she hyperfixates on me and whether or not I'll make a purchase or not, aren't they open til 8? Why she's trying to run me off like that. She smiling in my face saying to me "I'm Mandy, and Wendy's my boss" and calls her boss right in front of me.
