Instead of the warm, inclusive environment you'd expect from a farmers' market, I was met with behavior that felt biased and exclusionary. It was clear that respect was not extended equally, and that alone is enough to ensure I will never return. A farmers' market should represent community, diversity, and mutual respect. This one failed on all fronts. Until the organizers address how minorities are treated and hold vendors and staff to basic standards of professionalism and decency, I strongly advise others to spend their money elsewhere.
