My doctor couldn't find anything wrong with my lungs, so after considering my options, I decided to pay for an indoor air quality assessment. It's not cheap (~$525 for the comprehensive assessment, which is a little cheaper than competitors I found), but I thought it was well worth the cost. On the spot, Brian was able to confirm some big problems with the composition of my unit's air, and recommend some ways of improving it (e.g. lowering humidity + keeping bathroom fan running). After about 5 business days, I got a followup with all the numbers from the assessment, and a detailed followup of the recommendations he'd made in person. Since the inspection I've followed his advice, and my focus and energy at home have improved dramatically, and I can tell my lungs are much MUCH healthier.

Without hesitation,…read morehe spent at least 20 minutes explaining how home inspections work and why different aspects are inspected. I gave him the house info and we set up a date for the inspection. After an hour, he called me back and gave me some advice about the house that I'm truly thankful for. He said that, just from looking at the photos of the posting online, he could tell it would require way more of an investment than I was able to put into it. He recommended I don't take the house, even though that meant not getting my business for that particular house. It's trustworthy, honest, genuine people like this that the world needs more of. I'll be keeping his contact close and surely getting in touch with him for my next home inspection.
