The cafe is very light and airy, the walls have plant life growing on them in some places, it's just the right balance of shabby and elegant. Not that many people, so very relaxing, though I guess it gets more crowded on weekends. You can have coffee and home made cookies and cakes (they looked really really yummy), but also lunch. I just had some coffee, but I really regret that now :-) If I lived in Stockholm I think would go there a LOT! This made sense though since this place is TINY. They just seemed so stressed out and I felt bad for them. I ordered a sandwich, coffee, and apple tosca pastry. The sandwich was super fresh, but I felt the bread was a bit too hard for a sandwich. That being said, the bread was very tasty. The pastry was probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. This might sound like I'm exaggerating (I am), but it was honestly incredible. Soft, gooey, not too sweet, and just the right amount of crispness on top. Definitely recommended- just make sure you're not in a rush!

Oh & did I mention that everything is homemade & that they strive to serve ecological, fairtrade & locally produced food & drinks? For example they make their own apple juice with apples from the neighborhood. There is a beautiful outdoor seating & a pier with some tables. So it's good to have it there. However, if you come there with your friend who makes an order and you don't, because you have some food with you and no money -- don't count on hospitality. The hostess won't let you eat your sandwich. You'll still be sitting there, tired and hungry, waiting for your friend to finish before you can continue your walk. The friend would feel completely ill at ease because had she known the "deal" she wouldn't have ordered anything in the first place. Apparently, the hostess considers this awkward "punishment" situation to be better than two friends enjoying the pitstop and spreading a good word about her café afterwards. Tried to convince myself that I shouldn't be angry with the woman because maybe her business is not doing that great... but at the end of the day, keeping an organic-sustainable business should come with a kinder attitude. "If I let you eat it, then everyone will start coming here and eating their own food" vs. you are with a friend who ordered, then it's OK if you eat your sandwich.
