I expressed how unprofessional that was and the deal was locked in on my end. I took a hard inquiry on my credit due to thinking I would get this truck. Well, turns out that's not exactly correct. I was told inaccurate information. And now the warranty is no longer valid not only because I don't have records of changing the air filter. Even though it's never been recommended to be cleaned by Burns Ford of Lancaster or of york. I was under the impression by speaking with the service writer that my warranty even though came from Burns of Lancaster was still under the same umbrella as Burns of York. Turns out that's not correct. I believe what it was they were just looking to get extended business. Because I was never informed until now when I do need the warranty that I'm not covered. Because well it didn't transfer. Even though it's the same umbrella. Doesn't transfer. Not only that I've been going to Burns Lancaster Burns of York for quite some time for my oil changes. Last two times I've noticed before oil change first time half a quart this time 3/4 of a quart low. The truck has 83,000 miles on it. I looked a little further it's leaking from the VVT grommets on the valve cover gasket. Leaking an office to where I can smell it burn off the exhaust manifold. Leaking enough is to wear the air conditioning compressor has oil on it. Oh let me not forget last time I went I also had transmission fluid service done. To make sure I was up to date with all warranty issues or staying ahead of them. Well what they did they charged me for dropping the pan and changing the filter. Which was significantly higher in cost than it is for fluid replacement. I took about 10 minutes to clear it up.. so yeah I would think twice before going there.

She did not answer ANY of my calls so I'm not sure where the 1 out of 2 came from? Anyways, we went with a more reliable local provider who was very generous and understanding of our needs.
