I can't give them any more stars because I was not here to eat. We stopped by for drinks on their rooftop and for the band. The rooftop is beautiful and the fact that they had live music made our night. We found a great spot to sit and listen to music and we did not mind walking up to bar for our drinks. The bartender was quick to take everyone's orders, even on a busy evening. I had the Rooftop Refresher which was Hendricks Gin, Elderflower, lime juice, agave, mint and cucumber. It was perfect for a sunny, warm day. This is a great spot to visit to enjoy the rooftop.

We came here for a large group dinner, and the service was great for accommodating all our needs. We sat upstairs but unfortunately the weather was rainy so we didn't get a great view. The place is cozy though and with a nice intimate interior. Wine was delicious, as was the spinach and artichoke appetizer. I got the steak salad but subbed it with mahi mahi, and this was delicious. I didn't love that it was blackened, but the quality of the fish was great. Boyfriend's cacio e Pepe with shrimp was also super tasty and a good portion.

Had a nice dinner. Great location for Silver Beach. Busy season so we expected to wait a bit and perhaps service would be a little slow. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table for 2, but they have a bar so the wait was not bad. Service was not really slow so kudos to them. They have outside rooftop seating options, but it was too humid for us so we sat inside. Appetizer- 2 entrees- 2 beers - 1 cocktail - plus tip= $107.00. Food was delicious.

Just look up our dinner review a month ago, absolutely loved the dinner. So we came back for lunch.. and ladies and gentlemen, highly recommend going elsewhere for lunch. Top end prices for very sub par food. Ribs were small and very sweet, they were fine but left no where near full. Wife's sandwich also had a tiny piece of chicken on it, basically honey mustard bread. Such a disappointing follow up to a great dinner. Service was good at least.

Came here for dinner and we were craving a scenic rooftop dinner. The place is located, in what to me, looks like an office building, with their restaurant on the second floor. If you want to go to the roof top, head up the stairs one more level, where there's a midsized dining area and bar, and a small rooftop eating area. You can sit in the dining area as well, as the large doors let in a nice cool breeze while not obstructing your view. What was ordered: Ahi poke -- marinated fresh Hawaiian tuna, wasabi avocado aioli, scallion, toasted sesame seeds, asian slaw. served with fried wonton skins. I like how the crispy fried wonton skins, complimented the dish Calamari -- fried with peppers and served with creamy horseradish. It had a great crisp breading, and the peppers really added a nice touch... a little spice with each crunchy bite Fish tacos -- these tacos had cajun blackened mahi-mahi, avocado, rice, pineapple pico de gallo, cilantro lime aioli and flour tortillas. Really good! Service was good, food was good, and the overall experience was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located down one level from the rooftop, the bathroom was spacious and had several urinals with privacy dividers so you can do your thang. Everything was in working order, and clean. Sit or squat? Sit!

Absolutely beautiful view of the lake in a historic building. The food was great and the service was good as well.

The burger had a good flavor to it, but the tomato on it was clearly very mealy and should not have been used. Same for the tomatoes in the salad. Inedible. So, that tells me there are no real kitchen standards. There are a lot of cooks, but not many chefs around here. The flavor of the Caesar dressing was different, not something I would get again. The beer was good. Coleslaw had onion in it, not my fav, but it still had a good flavor to it. The bartender was friendly but you do not bring the check before offering dessert. It feels unwelcoming and is just not good service. I asked and they did have desserts. Overall, just an ok experience.

The service was fantastic, even made a few jokes. The place is beautiful and the views are nice. Focaccia - $13 - I asked if this was house made bread, and they said yes, so I went with this over the Burrata appetizer. The bread was fantastic, and the whipped ricotta was delicious. It's simple but very good. 5/5 stars. Lobster Bisque - $15 - Good flavor, decent amount of lobster. I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. 5/5 stars. Cascade Salad - $9 or $14 - This was pretty good as well. A different family member ordered this and I was also pleasantly surprised again. It ALMOST makes me want to order it (if they didn't have lobster bisque). 5/5 stars. 16oz Ribeye with Black Truffle Butter - $78 + $4 - The sear was perfect, the medium rare cook was spot on, and the flavor couldn't be better (well, almost, because my Black Truffle Butter was more like wine butter). Here's my gripe, if you put something was Black Truffle Butter why on earth is there wine?! My body can't process alcohol (which is why I don't drink), and when I taste uncooked alcohol, all I taste is alcohol. So, this was my only gripe. I couldn't taste any truffle, just alcohol. I had to switch with my husband for parts of his New York Strip, and he took the parts of my steak that had the truffle butter. 5/5 stars, but the Truffle Butter 0/5 stars. 14oz New York Strip - $69 - Perfect sear, cook, and flavor. You really can't go wrong with the steaks here. 5/5 stars. Grilled Asparagus - $14 - Perfectly cooked, and not stringy. 5/5 stars. Au Gratin Potatoes - $14 - These potatoes everyone loved. Normally, I'm not a bread crumb topping person, but it works here. 5/5 stars. Mashed Potato - $12 - These are just typical steakhouse mashed potatoes. Smooth and good, you couldn't make them better, but they get outshined by all the other dishes. 5/5 stars. Creme Brulee - $9 - This was to die for. Whatever cream they use is so good. One of the best creme brulees you could ever get. 5/5 stars. I apologize for the lack of picture, apparently I was so excited that I just forgot to take one. This place is one of the best restaurants in Indiana. You need to go here. Just don't get the truffle butter, unless you like alcohol. Everything else is amazing.

Coming from a big city with no shortage of high-end steakhouses, I'm used to premium pricing. I wasn't expecting big-city prices in Holland, which was a bit surprising. That said, the food was overall very good, with the exception of two sides: the layered potatoes and the truffle risotto. The layered potatoes looked incredibly promising but unfortunately lacked seasoning and flavor, tasting more like plain potato than the indulgent side they appeared to be. The risotto was also underwhelming slightly bland, with a few hard pieces of rice. Everything else, however, was excellent. The Maryland-style crab cakes were a standout, easily some of the best I've had, with generous portions and great flavor. The salmon and filet were both perfectly cooked, juicy, and well-executed. Drinks: The margarita was spot-on, balanced, not too sour or too sweet. I also tried the in-house lemonade, which was quite bitter and not something I'd recommend. Overall, this was a great first experience, and despite a couple of misses, I would absolutely return.

When you walk in, it had a nice vibe to it. There is a huge barrel of peanuts that you can scoop to eat at your table. We were greeted right away, and we were walked to our booth. The place was pretty big. They had plenty of room for seating, especially for big parties. There was a couple of big parties that came before us and it didn't feel crowded. The place was clean. They have flatscreen TVs around muted and you can hear the country music in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and took his time when we were ordering. Hubby ordered a cocktail drink and he said it was good and I ordered unsweetened tea. The drinks came in mason jars, which was a nice spin to the standard glass cup. At the table, they gave us two fresh hot rolls that were light and fluffy sweet and buttered. It was so good that we asked for seconds. Hubby ordered the half slab barbecue ribs and loaded, baked potato and a side salad with 1000 island. The barbecue ribs was nice fall off the bone. It had dry rubbed smoked, and the rib sauce was on the side. Hubby liked it. He would get it again, and he also enjoyed his loaded, baked potato with all the fixings. I ordered the 1 pound bone in ribeye steak with baked potato with butter and sour cream, medium rare and side salad with thousand island dressing. I got the salad and I was asked if I wanted croutons and cheese and I said yes it was OK. I felt like the lettuce should've been more fresh and crispy. It was kinda wilted, but I still ate it anyway. And they doused the salad with my thousand island dressing. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. My steak was indeed medium rare just the way I like it. I was also given A1 steak sauce, which is my favorite stay condiment. Our weight staff checked us a couple of times to make sure everything was OK. Is definitely a popular place because after we left the place got filled up pretty quickly. Overall, I come back here again when I'm around the area for the steak and ribs, the hospitality and those hot rolls!
