Two people recommended the same physio that is a lot closer to home, Joy Teo of the Dublin Spine & Sports Physiotherapy. After three appointments over the course of a month my knee is so much better. Between the exercises prescribed and the ultra-sounding directly to the point of swelling on each visit, there has been a huge improvement. The exercises do take some effort, but are not grueling. I have experienced a repeated 'frozen shoulder' and nerve impingement and was concerned about finding the right 'hands' to put my shoulder in - literally. And, the answer was right in my own hood - thanks to a fellow "Yelper" who gave it a great review! Tara at Dublin Spine & Sport PT Clinic has really taken care of me and my 'injury'. Visits are about 50 euro (cash only) and last between 30-45 minutes. And, better yet, there's no milking the injury - when the PT sees you've made progress, appointments are fewer and far between. They WANT to see you back in good working condition! So, after about five appointments (a huge difference compared to four months of appointments back home) I felt great and only returned to check that all is 'healing' properly. A little therapy goes a long way...
