Horrible place to live! Ryan Crossings claims to be a "Drug Free" community, they make you sign waivers and everything. Trust me that is far from the truth. Every day you have people smoking weed in the car lot or just sitting on the stairs in front of their apartment. My neighbor literally has video footage of a tenant stashing drugs by her apartment door. Every weekend night neighbors throw parties and smoke drugs outside. Over the weekend trash would be all over the parking lot because clearly they just let anyone move in. We sent video footage to Regina and let her know all issues and yet nothing was ever corrected. My husband and I could not wait to move out. When we finally did we left the 30 day notice and paid the last payment of 845, which Regina her self stated that was all we had to do and pay before we could be free. Now 2 months later we got a letter in the mail stating we owe about 1500 in charges for the apartment. One of the charges was the 845.00, which we paid, but Amanda claims we have to pay that again for termination of 12 month lease. Meanwhile my husband and I never resigned a 12 month lease with them, our lease ended on 7/31. We only had the apartment to the 31st of August because of the thirty day notice. They also charged us for a new carpet saying that ours smelled bad and blamed it on the pets. The smell did not come from pets urinating but the fact that our ac unit would leak and large amounts of leakage would sit in the carpet, which they knew about. Also, we were there for 3 years and not once did they offer to clean the carpet. That is strange to me cause every apartment I have lived in before has offered it. Instead they would rather charge you the 545 for new carpet in there establishment. I'm pretty sure they charge everyone this carpet charge because they change everyone's carpet when they leave. There are other silly charges like 16.00 for having 89 holes in the walls. Like y'all really stood there and counted them all?! Just petty, they were push pins that were use and if I know y'all where gonna be petty like that I would have filled the holes myself. Anyways we literally just received this letter 4 days ago, and it states we have 14 days to pay the 1500 dollars. Well it's only been 4 days and they already sent it to collections. Smh. I definitely do not recommend living here. Management does not take care of important issues they just put flyers on tenant doors and no improvement happens. The buildings are not even being taking care of. For instance the place would look less trashy if maintenance actually took the time to power wash the place. read more
