He says "a small piece of metal attached to some mucus." He had thrown away the qtip so I couldn't see it. He starts to leave. I say "the foreign object is under my lower eyelid." He takes a quick look and again swipes my eye with a qtip. He says the same thing he said last time. 30 seconds of fake qtip swipes for $300 and I don't have insurance.

They were friendly, personable, and professional. After waiting for more than an hour to see Doctor Kuang, he on the other hand was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. He made zero eye contact upon entering the room, was short and showed no interest or concern. He even asked "what brings you here today"? My Sclera (white part of the eye) is completely red and swollen. He prescribed a medication which directly conflicts with my current medication which sharply increases my risk of severe stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney damage, and cardiovascular events. I called the office more than six times over 4 weeks to ask Dr. Kuang to call me to discuss my condition and his recommendation for treatment and he NEVER returned my calls. He also never returned the call of another ophthalmologist even after I gave the office staff permission to discuss my condition. It's generally a professional courtesy to return calls of patients and colleagues. I contacted the Corporate Office to discuss my concern and did not receive a follow-up call. If there was an option for less than one star this location would get it from me. Based upon my experiences, I would adamantly not recommend this facility.

I called Dr. Henahan's office, and his machine sent me directly to his cell phone. How impressive that he would take time on a weekend to open his office building and check out my daughters eye. Confirmed this with receptionist when I made the appointment. I was expecting the usual, comprehensive eye exam with dilation. My co pay for this exam should be $10 per my plan. When I arrived for my appointment I gave the vision card and my ID. I was then asked for my medical coverage card. I gave it but didn't really understand the need for it. I was then called back to the window to hear that my exam would be $160.00 in case there were a medical issue to be determined. I had not even seen a doctor at this point and had no diagnosis to warrant medical attention but my Met Life coverage was being excluded. I did not stay for the appointment and reported to Met Life my experience. Ask all the questions before you make an appointment and get this run around.
