"Specializing in high quality construction" is a joke. We wanted to buy a house from Ryan that he built himself. There are various small issues we were willing to overlook, but the roof falling apart is the big one we asked to have fixed. The inspector also discovered moisture damage in the attic which was caused by Ryan not cutting vents for the bathroom fans in the roof, causing condensation to accumulate on the boards underneath the roof. He refused to fix any of this, and had tried previously to get us to sign documents saying if we backed out due to an inspection contingency that we wouldn't get our earnest money back. So he was clearly aware of the issues but chose to get our hopes up and waste our time instead of being a decent person and fixing the roof before trying to sell the house. He tried to make his neglect of the home our problem. We backed out and are disappointed to have spent $500 for the inspection, but we would have spent tons more if we had stuck with the deal. He clearly cares far more for his wallet than quality construction practices. I'd be extremely wary of contracting him. read more
