From day one, he went far beyond what you'd expect--not just handling the roof work, but acting as a true advocate and guide through an extremely drawn-out and stressful process. All at a great value. Jordan helped me navigate a complicated insurance situation, communicated efficiently with his crew and other consultants, and stayed on top of every detail. He checked on the roof regularly to make sure my tenants and property stayed safe, all while keeping things calm and moving forward behind the scenes. Thanks to his professionalism, we got through roof, wall, and ceiling repairs with no hiccups. He was responsive, thorough, and just an all-around wonderful person to work with. Please Beware of Ruffing Building Company... William Ruffing used our deposit, (which was half…read moredown, as I wasn't aware its third down, PA law) to complete another job. After waiting two months, finally, ALL the siding and material was delivered by Beacon Supply 10/04. Beacon Supply returned two days later, 10/06 to picked up all the material and returned it to the warehouse because Ruffing's check bounced. William Ruffing said his account was hacked at a gas pump. When the siding was installed, the right side the house the siding is buckling. The left side the house, since no suppliers will sell to William Ruffing, he used J-channel to start the first row of siding instead of using a starter strip. The installers damaged our new front porch deck, base molding, and tore several large limbs off a 8' tall shrub along our porch. As per contract Ruffing still hasn't finished the metal work around the porch and porch windows. William Ruffing totally blew off request from the PA Attorney Generals Office, twice, to rectify the problem. So now we are working with an attorney. I talked to his employees, that Bill Ruffing said he had to let go. The weren't let go, the employees quit because of eight bounced paychecks. William Ruffing has constantly lied, and made up excuses. I do have pictures documenting everything stated, with dates, contracts, materials sales slips, phone calls, damage, messages and the job done on the house. This guy can't be trusted. He is a fraud and a habitual liar. Save your money and find a reputable contractor. Look closely at other feed-back on this guy... If I could, I would have given him NO stars.

Called Tri County door and they agreed to come out for a $65 service fee. While I wasn't too happy about such a steep fee to get someone out here to tell me what I already knew (hey your garage door is broken and it needs a cable), I couldn't really argue. They came as scheduled and Rickie had our door fixed in about an hour. Here's what I was really happy about - he found the cable wasn't broken but just needed to be put back on the pulley. So no parts charges and his integrity was definitely a cost savings to us! Kudos to these guys. The honesty of their tech saved us money in the end and that is definitely worth more than anything else to us!

Agree with other post, he does not honor a contract. He is very eager to communicate to get the job…read morethen crickets once he starts. Says he will come days and doesn't, then doesn't call/text or respond to calls/texts until you've blown his phone up too many times. Then he gives you just enough to get you off his back and then still doesn't follow through. Claims he has materials he doesn't and claims he had to special order things and won't provide receipts when asked. The store says other wise that things were in fact not ordered and what materials he did drop off are incorrect and are in stock in the store. He offered a refund, we will see if we get that. We have been down to studs since beginning of September. Oh and he punctured a hole through a wall and didn't fix it. It has been a nightmare trying to get the correct materials or a refund so we can part ways with him. We will see if we get the refund he said he would give, if not we will be taking him to court for compensation. ​
