It's ironic that the "owner" commented on my review... as I already did reach out to Ryans before the message. After multiple attempts and the operator there sending me to dead end numbers with no voicemail (nice customer service tactic) I reached someone who claimed to be part of the service department. they took down all of my information, apologized profusely for the techs behavior, and told me they would be refunding my money. They even took down my card info to refund it back. It's been over a week now with no refund and no call back. So now that's a second time that Ryan's has dropped the ball. I'll update this again if I actually get my money back, but until then, avoid this business. They lie when they service your vehicle, and then lie when you catch them and they say they're going to make it right. read more

Went in for a Oil Change/Tire rotation on a 1500 Silverado. Before arriving at the doors, I marked my two back tires LR and RR just out of curiosity if they actually rotate the tires (I did take photos before and after with a time stamp). Upon completion of for mentioned Oil Change/Rotation, I jumped into my truck and drove to end of the parking lot to check the tires. Upon inspection of the tires I noticed the RR tire hadn't moved. So I proceeded to go back and ask why on a 4x4 vehicle they weren't cross rotating the 4 tires that I paid for. They proceeded to tell me they only rotated the two drivers side tires cause they were 4/32 depth difference. I then looked at my inspection sheet where it says my tires are all 7/32 depth. To which they said GM makes them take the lowest depth and put that on the Inspection sheet. (Which doesn't make sense, cause how you supposed to know if you have any uneven wear). To which he said my tires were all 7/32 or 8/32 depth (not what the "tech" said). Now I know that if the tires are all within 1/32 depth of one another they should be cross rotated especially on a 4-wheel vehicle. Oh an i might I add, they only rotated (2) of my tires, but you can bet on my printed receipt I'm getting charged for a 4-tire rotation (I have photos). I didn't go get any money back cause I hadn't realized they only "rotated" 2 and not 4 till later. But their solution to the problem is to give me a sheet for a free tire rotation, like I'm going to trust you enough with my vehicle to actually rotate my tires ever again. Unfortunately, we trusted this dealership to sell us a 50k vehicle that has had nothing but issues since purchasing only a few months ago. There was a list of things wrong before we drove it off the lot and we were told everything would get fixed. Not all of the issues were taken care, we were told some parts were on back order. We were told there is a long list of people waiting for parts and there was no timeline given as to when the issues would be resolved. We followed up multiple times, communication has been a huge issue. As we continued to wait on parts, more issues came to surface, nothing of which could be taken care of at the time we brought it up because they were short staffed and again, parts were hard to come by. It wasn't until the check engine light came on that they even scheduled an appointment to have it brought in and the earliest was a week later. Brought the vehicle in, and now we wait for the warranty work to be covered before they can even order parts that they say they can't get. We were able to call around and get the parts needed, same brand they were looking for, told the dealership and they couldn't believe it. Yet no one has taken the initiative to communicate with us to get the parts ordered and have this taken care of. So many excuses on their end, everyone pointing fingers at the next person and no one is trying to make this right in a timely manner because it's "above them". We have been patient, respectful and understanding in the process, really surprised this is the outcome. We even tried to go to another vehicle and were told we would have to take a huge loss, to look for a vehicle on our own or take more time off to come in and work with them again to see what is available. Regardless no one is in a hurry to make this right on their end. So many issues and they just keep coming, huge disappointment. We cannot wait for this nightmare to be over. As we don't completely write off this dealership, because each to their own, we do however suggest you tread with caution. Looks bad so far. After being called numerous times about a 2014 Cadillac Sts wagon and submitting a credit application online the salesman Doug Rambow kept telling me "we are waiting to hear from the bank." For almost 2 weeks this was his response. Yes I have less than perfect credit but I'm driving a 2015 kia now so I know financing is available plus being in the car business myself for 30 plus years I am fully aware of how to treat a potential customer. Then it dawned on me....my emails show the color of my skin...could THIS be the reason I am being "shined on?" Seems like it to me! Plus the fact that the car had a sign in the window that it was on hold for an online auction with no mention of this from the salesman is another sign that these folks should not be selling cars to the general public in the United States of America. If you are a person of color steer clear of this place and especially Doug Rambow. He won't tell you the truth and will waste your time with no apologies. read more

This dealership doesn't seem very professional, or understand customer service. Ordered a 120k Escalade. Came in with the wrong boards on it so was ordered incorrectly. Asked how this mistake happened but their is no answer how it happened? No anything, obviously someone made a mistake. Not the end of the world. But when talked about with the dealership, options were pretty much take it or leave it, or buy this one and order another new one? Really? I have already waited 9 months for this one. No attempt to try to make it right. Ok still, very hard to get this vehicle during these times so moving on. 1 day after we took vehicle home we noticed a scratch/tear in the leather armrest. About a quarter to a half inch. Again not a big deal, every dealership has a leather guy and this is super simple to fix. Let them know and asked when their leather guy would be in. They gave a day and said it would be 40 dollars. I couldn't really care less about 40 dollars but still said should you guys fix this being 1 day old and we know nobody was in that seat. Salesman went to the boss and the boss said he won't pay for it that we had to have made the scratch. Wow. So your saying I'm lying to you to get out of paying a 40 dollar tab. Salesman grumpily said he would just pay the 40 dollars. If I was the salesman I would tell the customer that it's no problem and we would take care of it even if I was paying out of my pocket. Never be grumpy and tell the customer the dealership won't pay it so I'll just pay the money from my own pocket. I'm not hard up to have a salesman pay a 40 dollar bill for me but the professional way to handle it would be the dealership step in. I was able to look past some of the things earlier in the process. Vehicle being ordered wrong, the dealership not knowing even as much as me on the status of the vehicle in production, and when it would arrive, vehicle coming in slightly wrong and given insulting options. I've bought 2 vehicles from here in the last 3 years that equal to 200k and this is the professionalism that comes with it? This little 40 dollar fix and the insults assuming that I'm lying and had to have made this little scratch have now cost this dealership any future sales with me and anyone else that may ask my opinion. Maybe this will reach someone that understands customer service, and how to retain customers, because they are way off page. If I make mistakes I admit to them and look for a resolution. I would never directly or indirectly tell Someone their lying in a situation like this. This isn't the only dealership that I use and do know what good service at a car dealership looks like. Bought a brand new Jeep from them and 5 days later it overheated and almost blew up. Had to have it towed 90 miles back to the dealership. They never even offered us a loaner until we set foot in the store the following day bc nobody would help us or return a phone call. After being disappointed with another chevy dealership in central MN I was looking for another location to service my vehicle. I found Ryan Auto in the area and figured I try. Sadly it was a mistake. Not only did they neglect to get signed paperwork for unexpected costs but they neglected to tell me costs had incurred following my warranty work. This all is doubled by my service department rep Brad telling me he didn't care about reviews and assumed I knew my no deductible plan had a deductible when visiting other dealerships for work! OF COURSE I didn't know! That's why I was trying to find a new place. Not to mention the wrong parts order and it took much longer than I was expecting for the repair. This was after several phone conversations with service rep Brad telling me that the extended warranty company was covering the work; that I was on a no deductible plan... But that wasn't the case when I picked up and I owed a bill. Sadly I will not buy Chevy again or visit a Chevy dealership unless absolutley necessary because it's clear they do not care much about customer service. read more

I spoke to two of the owners of RYAN Chevrolet and they we're poor at customer service and I would not trust them. I typically never give bad reviews but when people have poor character the should not communicate with customers. I made a suggestion about their marketing and they basically told me, I was not their client because I didn't buy a vehicle from them. I would never buy a vehicle from this company because of the poor character of the owner. I have also suggested to other businesses in the area not to buy vehicles from Ryan Chevrolet. So the situation was they sent this coupon out it said you get a free something with an oil change which it turns out you always get it free with an oil change. So basically you get nothing. It just seems like a scam way to get people in. I suggested that they sent something out that says two dollars off and more people probably use it. And it would increase their business in an honest way. One owner said, I had nothing to do with marketing and I wasn't a client so I had no business making a suggestion. And then said I wanted to speak to the other co-owner and he wasn't any better. The company was probably better when the current owners father managed it. 05/18/2020 I had rear wheel liners installed on my new 2020 Silverado today after it was completed I walked past the rear wheel and noticed that of the three screws holding the lower portion of the liner only two were holding the third was an inch away from the liner. I checked the other side and it was the situation. the truck had to be brought back into the shop to correct the problem. The oil change was done but the cabin filter was skipped, when I mentioned this I was told I could get it done when a broken trim part that I needed and had to be ordered and was promised for the next day came in. I bought private party, then brought in my 2014 Chevy Suburban for a new shark fin antenna well over a year ago now. Maybe even more than 2 years ago. I waited to write this review for so long to make sure I wasn't ignorantly accusing and leaving a bad review with the wrong understanding. When I picked up the suburban after the antenna installation it ran horrible. I could hardly drive it. It felt like the transmission was slipping badly throughout all of the gears. Knowing they had only done the Antenna I wasn't at all thinking it was Ryan's fault. I brought it back in shortly after picking it up. They kept it over night and diagnosed it. Now I'm told it needs a transmission, rear end, and transmission cooler lines. I scheduled to have the work done and they were going to match a competitors coupon of 10% off service work. It was still going to be over $7,000 in repairs. Figuring I'm having it all replaced and not rebuilt I continued to drive the suburban for the next few days before the work was scheduled to start. At some point I was stopped at a light. For the first time I noticed it was chugging and sputtering at a stop. So I tell myself, okay that's not the transmission. I put a scanner on it myself this time. Sure enough it pulls a code for a misfire. I believe it was on cylinder 3. I pulled the plug. It was rusty, completely shot, and it was a different plug than all of the rest of the plugs. I put in 1 new plug and drove it around. Problem fixed. I of course changed all of the plugs and wires after that. So now 30,000 to 40,000 miles later and still no transmission or drive train problems. I firmly believe Ryan tried to screw me over and somewhat believe that they put that bad spark plug in my truck when they had it in for the antenna. Perhaps they seen sucker and dollar signs when they had it in for the antenna. Considering I had replaced every single steering, suspension, and breaking part in it. I guess they thought I paid handsomely for all of that work and wanted to see how many thousands they could take me for. Call it a coincidence if you will, but my Suburban ran perfect before taking it in. With that 1 bad plug I didn't even make it a block away from their shop before the problems started. Add that to the fact that they had it in to diagnose it, they put it on their scanner (which I'm sure is way more high tech than the cheap one I used), and then came up with a repair bill for a Transmission, the Cooling Lines, and a Rear End. This company has SCAM written all over it. I will never come back and I advise everyone to stay away from their mechanics! read more

Thank you for the great service. We have not purchased from Ryan (yet!) but have had our Yukon serviced here several times. They have been diligent in their work and even helped to get some things covered under warranty. A check engine light brought me in this morning and three hours later and $450 I am good to go. They have never pushed for us to look at buying and I feel they are never over charging me for service either. When we are ready to purchase Ryan Chevrolet will be where we go. I felt like a needed to take a shower after dealing with them! I was greeted with the term " we turn steel, only mark up our vehicles $100 to $300 dollars" I heard this 3 times in my first 20 minutes. FYI you can't make a living off that profit or lack there of! Used cars salesmen...Geeez! So I let them look at my trade ... "greeted with oh there's a horrible shutter to it" FYI there's no shutter. We will call you with what we will give. When we received their call now the vehicle is in such "bad shape". So I drove it across the street to Morries, told them exactly what the Ryan folks said. They gave it a thorough look over... "we did not feel a shutter let alone a bad one.....none of these items are bad or going bad at this time but it needs new tires". THEN they offered me $8,500 more than Ryan!!!
