I was fortunate enough that this place is about less than two miles from home so it is an easy and fast commute. Came here for the first visit back in Feb 2021, and there are currently two physical therapists that practice in this location. I was assigned to Austin and from day one he was compassionate and personable. Austin is very patient, engaging, and very aware of my recovery journey. If you think he's not looking while you're doing your exercises, think again! He will correct you and/or up your weight when he knows you're ready for it! The front desk manager, Jess, is soooo friendly! She makes you feel like you're a part of their family at first visit, and is also very personable! She makes you feel like you're a long lost friend and just chats it up with you when you come in, or about to leave. Steve, the owner, I have gotten to know a bit as I'm now one of the veterans there and he has such a caring attitude about you and you can feel that he is really there for your well being and will do what it takes to aid you in your recovery journey. The physical therapist assistant crew, are seriously the BEST people you can be around with! Yes, you see your physical therapist, but they also put you in the very well trusted hands of their assistants, who are the ones responsible for setting you up on the exercise machines properly, assisting you off the machines, setting you up with electric stimulation therapy, and ice/heat packs. Physical Therapist Assistants: Bailey, Elanoa, Baylee (Mon/Wed/Fri crew) and Taylor, Marty (Tues/Thurs crew) are really phenomenal in what they do. I have been there over 5 months now and each of them has gotten to know my routine, my timed machine exercises, and they don't even ask me where I'm going next, they set up the next machine for me w/out me asking. This is truly a phenomenal physical therapy location as the staff goes above and beyond to make their patients feel like family and truly taken care of. I have been here 2.5 weeks, and on 5 occasions, someone has come into my room in the middle of the night with questions or concerns that are not appropriate for that time of night. Last night at bedtime I declined a topical pain cream that was prescribed "as needed." It was the 3rd day in a row that I declined it. At 3:15 am a CNA walked into my room, turned on the lights, and started putting on gloves. When I asked what was going on, she mentioned this cream. I'm afraid I was very unkind when I told her I didn't want it and she needed to leave!! It seems they forget how important sleep is in the recovery process. Or they forget that just because they are awake and working, the rest of us are not.

If you can't answer simple questions in a decent way, (even if the questioner is curt) you have no business being the receptionist. People who are sick and in pain should not have to then field more pain from you. I've been going to PFM in PG since 2003 starting with Dr Liddle. Then Crockett, and now Willis. And their office staff is sublime. I have never been dealt with with such a lack of compassion at PFM until I Unfortunately happened upon you.

The medical assistant also wrote down the wrong thing that my husband was being seen for, so the doctor didn't even know why we were there. He also didn't introduce himself or get to know much about my husbands medical history before deciding he needed to do lab work. He also almost left the room before addressing the main reason we were there. We will be looking for a different office for future appointments.

To sum it up, I walked in with crutches and left without them (no, he didn't steal my crutches, haha!). I had hurt my ankle and I wasn't able to walk on it without pain, he took a look at my ankle, found where the pain was, and then he showed me exactly what bone and tendons were causing my pain on an anatomy app he has on his tablet. He then did all sorts of weird things to my ankle that I don't understand that physical therapists do, and then he taped it with a knob inside the tape to help keep my cuboid in place. After that, I was able to walk without my crutches. Absolutely amazing! All my other injuries have been treated with care, humor, understanding, thoroughness, and speed. I will never like the ASTYM treatment, but dang it, it WORKS. hahaha! If you have an injury, go see him, he's a miracle worker!

Scott Maw took over my therapy when my original therapist moved, and he has just been amazing to work with. He really cares about getting you back to being able to perform your everyday activities. I had to have my knee manipulated and Scott made sure to find me a spot in his schedule so that I would be able to get in to see him on the day of my procedure. He really listens to your concerns and wants to see you succeed! I will definitely be coming back for all my other physical therapy needs!
