Dennis was very responsive from the start which made me feel comfortable about hiring him. When he arrived was gave great information and tips and explained how and what he will be doing. He was all around very informative and answered all of the many questions I had. I walked around with him and pointed out concerns and/or issues and he then thoroughly checked them all out. He was very friendly and made me feel really comfortable about any of the issues that I was concerned about. We are very dissatisfied with Clifton's service. We hired him specifically for a…read morefoundation/deflection evaluation and clearly stated upfront that our goal was to obtain a report that could be compared apple-to-apple with the builder's calculations so the builder could be held responsible. We provided all county-filed documents in advance for this purpose. Despite this, the final report was not PE-stamped and used a different methodology than the builder's standards, making a valid comparison impossible and the report unusable. The builder would not accept it. Multiple follow-ups requesting clarification went unanswered or resulted in brief, unclear responses that did not address our concerns. Instead of addressing our stated goal, the inspector focused on upselling contractors listed on his website and encouraging us to contact them for repairs--something we explicitly stated we did not want. Overall, the service failed to meet expectations and did not deliver what was agreed upon.
