This is just your average Rv park. We made reservations online and never saw anyone that worked or…read moremaintained the property the whole time we were there. The grass was a bit high around our pad. It took me quite a while to find the tank hookup because it was covered in the grass. We didn't have the hookup until the next day because we couldn't find the connection. They had a bath house at the end of the lot and gave the code by email but I could never get the password for the WiFi. There was tubing available at the end of the lot. Sky tubing was the name. It is $15 a person and you have to sign up online they their Facebook page. They said they are open 3 days a week thru the end of August (Friday thru Sunday). There free is river access if you bring your own tube, ‍ surfboard or kayak/canoe. I couldn't find any office in sight to ask any questions. Plus our spot was backed up to the highway, which wasn't a problem but there was no shade at all. It got very hot during the day. Across the street was better though , but when we came there wasn't any other space available. If you want to come here make sure you reserve online because it's usually full if you don't have a reservation. I myself would of liked it better if it would have been a little more room

We fortunately found accommodations nearby which were very much nicer, so our story has a happy ending for us. Don't trust these folks.

Two weeks ago I called in with a question regarding my air tanks, the service manager helped me right on the phone, it was simple and he spent about 30 min answering random questions I had. About 5 days later, I decided to bring my bus in for some preventative maintenance and 4 cables to release condensation in my air tanks. I was here for about 6 hours, but it was smooth as butter and they have a GREAT spacious lounge with WiFi, tv, and recliners for comfort. The next day I took off on my travels. I ended up puncturing a hole in my transmission pan about 90 miles away. I was panicked as I am traveling alone. I dialed the service manager and not only did he calm me down, he told me it is fixable (expensive but fixable), he also did a quick search for mechanics in that location. I said no, I will have it towed to you. Once it was towed and assessed, and the parts came in (5 days) the work was completed within two days (it was quite the job). The mechanic answered the many questions I had and the service manager went above and beyond to make me comfortable and safe. I was allowed to stay at the shop for a week (as my RV is self sufficient), the service manager took me to grab groceries and offered to take me anywhere else I needed to go. The other members of staff were quiet and kept to themselves while I worked. I was safe and not judged for a road hazard I could not see. I could not recommend Diesel Power Truck Center or Will any more if I tried. I was kept in the loop, I was warned of a timeline (2 weeks, ended up being 8 days), and I was kept informed of costs. Which I think we can all appreciate. Honesty, integrity, and even a good few laughs to pass the time.

They are the worst, most disrespectful, shop that we have dealt with in our 20+ years of doing business. We got our insurance involved and Diesel Power Truck Center treated the situation as a blank check. They constantly told us our truck would be out "that day" and then when 5 o'clock would roll around they told us "We will start up again tomorrow". DO NOT USE THEM unless you would like a dishonest, untrustworthy, not professional shop.

Kleen Tank of Western North Carolina - Tom at work in on my new LQ in Boone, North Carolina

I did a fair amount of research on tank management before buying my first living quarter horse…read moretrailer. I got a lot of conflicting advice. A top YouTuber on RV lifestyles posted a video with a Kleen Tank expert, and I was impressed with the idea that I could get the tanks in my pre-owned LQ "factory clean" and maintain them without harsh chemicals or treating them like a septic vs a holding tank. I found Tom on the Kleen Tank site as a rep serving the Carolinas. I reached out and got an immediate, friendly response, up front estimate and no pressure. I set up an appointment at a campground near home where I could park my trailer with a full hookup. Tom was early to the campground, and helped me get unhitched and set up, which I much appreciated since it was my first time handling the gooseneck and a full setup (water, power, sewage, leveling etc). Even though the dealer said the tanks were cleaned, I watched as Tom power washed and drained the gray and black tanks, and plenty of gunk came out of both. The process ended with perfectly clear water running out of the hose and all sensors working. Amazing! Tom couldn't have been more polite and professional. He also took the time to give my water heater a good flush, and at my request, reviewed best practice going forward for gray and black tank maintenance. I grabbed this shot of him at work on my rig. Very happy with the service and love starting out with clean tanks and a plan for keeping them problem free.
