I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car. That's when I decided that it was best to leave it there and have it towed to the nearest automotive shop. Thankfully, JT&AS was no more than 7 miles away from where I was stranded. In case you have never worked on a car, replacing a rear main seal requires that you remove the transmission. Major work at a more than fair price. Instead of simply turning around and moving (which would take a maximum of 3 minutes), they left. I waited outside in the rain for them thinking they were going to turn around the block, but when we called, they said they didn't want our business. I understand there might have been a miscommunication, but they were rude and inconsiderate. I am grateful that we were able to get in touch with movinghelp, as they were able to rebook us, but this caused undue stress and tension in an already stressful situation.
