I wanted to share with you my experience with Rv Man mobile service. I called and spoke with Austin and informed him that I had some issues with my RV camper, and we're camping, not sure if that's labeled as an "emergency call" based on my $175 hourly rate I was charged. I noticed that someone 4 months prior was only charged $139 hourly rate. We have warranty coverage but unfortunately the price Rv Man charged was so inflated I was short paid by claims $500 on a $1500 claim, I was charged for a converter $490 when you can buy the camping world (which is where they bought it) for $320. I also noticed that someone 4 months prior was only charged $139 hourly rate (we paid $175). They charged me over $100 "locating parts", shouldn't that be part of the hourly rate that I'm paying you guys? Now claims time.... When I first called Rv Man, they said they would not handle the claims part (now I know why) and that I would have to pay out of pocket and go through claiming it through extended warranty, I was okay with that due to the fact that I was stuck in a position where I had no electric in my RV. Desperate times, right. They did excellent work in getting me back operational but I feel like it's a slap in the face when a company takes advantage of someone in a vulnerable position. October 16, 2023, I spoke to Austin and told him my situation, He said that he will send a technician and will let me know what needs to be done and how much it's gonna cost me before they start the job. I also let them know that I'm on a tight schedule. He sent me a message 6:34 AM the morning the following day to confirm the appointment. I was under the impression that they will show up early because that is what I've requested on our previous conversation, Technician showed up past 1:00 PM in the afternoon after I made two follow up calls. Mr. Austin, you called me and you even sound like RUDE, I didn't call you every after 5 minutes, I have to do follow up calls because I have an important appointment. How easy it is for you to say that "WE MIGHT BE LATE DUE TO TRAFFIC"?? I ask your Technician how much those two batteries would probably cost me? around $130.00 to $140.00 each, that's what your technician said. Just wondering how you ended up CHARGING me over $900.00???. They were able to fit us into the schedule on short notice, trace down electrical and water system problems, obtain parts and make repairs very quickly. They saved an otherwise miserable trip. They are a family owned, veteran run outfit. Very respectful and thorough. I found them very trustworthy. I left them a key so that they could finish the work while we enjoyed The river and town. The transaction was completed by phone and they tidied up after they finished the job. I can attest that these guys did a fantastic job on an emergency repair of electrical and water RV systems. Had an issue with our new RV, no hot water. They were contacted and out ASAP to look at our issue and help resolve the problem. Communication was great from the time they headed our way to the time the arrived at the campgrounds. New RV (2022) and the refrigerator went out as the floor (?) supporting it "sunk" causing more than a 3% differential which in turn causes it to shut down. There was no way Austin could fix the support in the time he had as he also worked me into his busy schedule. He basically "hot wired" the frig so it would keep my insulin at an acceptable temperature until I can get the warranty work done. He did a very professional job. read more

I want to start by saying that this is a veteran owned business for which I have total respect as my entire family come from military backgrounds. I had made several phone calls to get a repairman out to my RV for some mobile repairs and this company was the only one that returned my call. In fact, while I was leaving a voicemail the owner was texting me back to ask me if I could call him later. He was kind enough to call me back within the hour. I explained my situation, he set up an appointment for a week later, keep in mind it's the busiest time of the year. I was excited to get a call back, let alone an appointment, and only 7 days out, lol. Fast forward to the day of the repair. Two gentlemen came out, one being the owner's son. They looked at the problem, got it fixed very quickly and at a reasonable rate. They also educated me on what to do in the future since it's not explained in the owner's manual. They were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, respectful and I am so grateful to find them and I will always, always call them first for any RV repairs that I need done. I got the RV Man company to come to my house to repair a couple of leaks in my Lance Trailer. He quoted my daughter $80 for the drive out plus $139/hr and expected 2 hours of work. I talked to him myself and adding this up we agreed it would be about $400 plus the cost of tubes of sealant but not to exceed $500 plus tax. When the job was completed, he billed me $766 which was $266 more than agreed to and he never advised me it would be more. The reason it was so much more was that he charged about $45 for a credit card fee, plus $247 for 12 tubes of Dicore sealant plus 2 tubes of clear sealant plus 3 screws plus he charged $160/hr rather than the $139/hr we agreed on. That would be about $19/tube of sealant. I checked on Amazon and you can get Dicor for $9/tube so he marked it up by about $10/tube. In the end he removed the credit card charge and reverted to the quoted $139/hr but still wanted the huge upcharge for the Dicor and I doubt it took 12 tubes. I would not hire this guy again as I cannot trust that he would stick to the quoted price. read more

I can't say enough about these guys. We had a small repair to be made to our trailer hitch assembly. Richard, our technician, was able to explain every step of the repair, including how he arrived at this knowledge from many years working for the big RV operations. I also met Austin the owner. What can I say? He's a true gentleman, a solid, honest businessman and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any RV repair.
