Utah RV Parts and Repair

I took my fifth wheel toy hauler to Utah RV Parts and Repairs in Garland, Utah to have my fridge…read morefixed. The "technician" determined that it needed a new cooling element. I paid nearly $700 for the part and replacement on my existing fridge. Long story short.... The new cooling element was damaged while being installed. I had a vacation coming up that was prepaid at 3 different RV Camps in Southern Utah, for 2 nights at each, for my unit and my neighbor also had a space for their trailer. There was still a few weeks for them to fix my fridge. Well.... The fridge didn't get fixed. They had it for 2 MONTHS, and I still don't have a fridge. I couldn't get full reimbursement from the RV Parks, so I am now out an additional $550+ for a vacation that I cannot go on. Now, Scott (the owner) has a plan. He will install a new fridge to make up for it and reimburse my RV Park losses. Fast forward another 3 weeks+.... I have a used fridge that was forced into the hole virtually springing the cabinet open, and a half inch gap above the fridge. There are 7 mounting screws in the freezer. One is at an angle, 2 others are tight and four can be turned with a fingernail. I have lost the nearly $700 paid for a cooling element that would have had a 3 year warranty, and have a used fridge (missing the top trim of BOTH doors) with no warranty, no reimbursements for a missed vacation, and a refusal to finish the installation because I called their work "pathetic". Nearly 3 months to repair an RV fridge.... and Scott is upset because I have an "attitude".

We reached out several times to schedule a time for them to finish the work. Left several voicemails and went through their online scheduler to try to get this done for months. They refuse to even contact us back. I mean they already got paid so why would they have the integrity to get the work done. I would avoid this company at all costs.

That cost me $200 bucks. Paid him $478 up front for the part, he said he'd come out the day after it arrived to install it. Didn't show, didn't text back, eventually answered me and said he'd forgotten and he'd come out some point later in the day. That didn't work for me so I asked for a refund on the part and he was rude instead of being professional about it. Ignored me when I followed up 10 days later about my refund.

The defective part never did work right then I asked for him to warranty the product and he told me that I would have to send him $1011.45 so he could buy the part for warranty because he didn't have $1000 to his name so I did I trusted him And several weeks later no contact so I called him to follow up and he had never ordered my part and just sat on my money so I asked for a refund that was well over three weeks ago and I still have not gotten a refund. This is horrible customer service. Don't hire this guy unless you want poor service and lose your money at dishonesty

Two of my…read morepet peeves about doing business today are companies that don't return your phone calls, or make appointments only to be hours late or shine you on completely. My husband called Stone's on a Sunday and wasn't expecting a return call until Monday but Samantha called back within a couple of hours. We made an appointment for service on a Tuesday, and they came when they said they would, and took care of our needs efficiently and professionally on a cold, rainy day. Whether you live in Evanston, WY, or are passing through on vacation, and are having trouble with an RV or trailer (no semis), don't hesitate to give Stone's RV & Light Trailer Repair. They are very knowledgeable about RV's and trailers of all ages. Heck, folks in SLC and Ogden who haven't had any luck with their local repair shops have brought their rigs up to Stone's and gotten their problems solved. That says a lot.

Parris RV informed me that there was no way they would be able to straighten them out without cutting into the underbelly. Stone's RV was able to diagnosis what lines went where without cutting into the belly and they were reasonably priced for the work. Thanks so much. Glad we have a reputable and reliable RV service business here in Evanston.
