Ruya is a nice cozy coffee spot. They have perfect cold brew. Nice and quaint spot to do work. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Really cute Moroccan inspired coffee shop in downtown St Pete. Not an insane amount of seating but there is lots of comfy seating inside and covered seating outside. Coffee from $4-8 depending on what you get. The Ruya latte was really good - not too sweet at all and did the job. Would definitely come back again.

Really awesome work space in St Pete! The space is so energetically right. The coffee is a bit on the lighter and more expensive side, but if you plan to spend a good amount of time here (either inside or outside) you might find the free wifi+drink and ambiance worth it! I had a great time doing computer work with my friend and they have very unique drinks with creative profiles.

Loved my visit to Ruya. It was simply wonderful. Enjoyed my time hanging out with my hubby, pup, and Jennifer. I ordered the almond latte with amaretto cold foam. That amaretto cold foam really I simply loved with this latte. I ordered my husband a salted caramel latte and my friend Jennifer had a matcha and had them add the almond flavor to it. It's a really cute setting inside. Loved the Xmas festive decor and sitting on the comfy couch inside. They have a nice back outside as well although no shade. Great spot for some coffee, tea, & matcha with unique flavors. They have some pastries as well, Service was very friendly too! Lastly impressed that there are a couple parking spots right in front and we were able to get one.

Incredible tucked away local Moroccan-inspired coffee shop just west of bustling downtown St Petersburg. Modern, laid back vibe with ample backyard space for relaxation. Also features wine and alcoholic concoctions ideal for a quiet date night or group gathering. Worth a stop in!

I can't get enough of coffee shop dates during the holidays, and my friend and I stopped by Ruya in St. Pete to check it out. I tried a matcha latte with amaretto syrup - a delicious flavor combo. Ruya is such a cute space with good vibes. There is plenty of seating inside, as well as a large outdoor courtyard behind the shop. The decor is neutral and relaxing, and they were decorated for the holidays during our visit. The baristas were so friendly and added to the great experience. We visited at an off hour, so we were able to park right out front where they have a small lot, but there was a sign signaling additional parking nearby, as well.

What a great addition to the area!! The owner Sarah was super friendly. She said Ruya is all about the community having that ideal third space- and I can attest, this is totally it! There's a beautiful (and honestly large) outdoor space with tons of seating, and the inside is gorgeous. It would be a great place to work, but also a great place to bring friends in the evening for a happy hour or a late night yap sesh. I tried the Ruya's Latte which has fig in it, and it was not too sweet. I got it hot the first time but went back a second day and got it iced, which I prefered!

This new spot near Central Ave is so charming and laid back. Parking isn't exactly the best but there is street parking nearby. There's plenty of seating inside and out back which is helpful, especially if you're coming in to work. The barista working while I was there did a fantastic job, and between my friend and I we got 4 coffees and croissants while busy working :D so clearly it was all tasty. It's very cozy inside with the decor, especially the linen hung from the ceiling. We were here on a Tuesday morning during the week of Thanksgiving so it wasn't particularly busy, but there was good foot traffic. Definitely a good place to stop in at if you need a quick caffeine fix or you hang out for a while.

The cutest lil coffee shop! I came across this place on Instagram and lemme tell you it was some of the best coffee I've had in St Pete. The barista walked us thru the menu and gave us recommendations based off what we liked. There is a huge outdoor area in the back and they're dog friendly! Definitely will be back to try something different next time.

Matcha Latte

Great coffee and matcha! They also have cute indoor and outdoor space as well. Best in St Pete right now.

What a cute cafe! I love the mediterranean twist. The decor, the drinks really ties it in. There is plenty of seating in the back and the front. They have a wide variety of options from teas to coffees to wine. They even invited drift for bagels & pancakes which was delicious. We got our drinks out fast and even brought to us while we sat outside.

I came here for a collab event with Rare Body Pilates Studio and it was really nice! They have a very cute outdoor patio area as well as some seating inside, and they had a pop-up from Melipona Bakery on this day as well. I got a latte with mocha and a seasonal tart cherry vanilla syrup, and was shocked that it was only $6.50 (cheap compared to most coffee shops these days!) The coffee was really good and the flavors were delicious, especially since they make their own syrups. My one complaint with the coffee was that the cherry syrup had lots of cherry pulp, and I would have enjoyed it more if that was strained out. The service was great and the workers were all super friendly and helpful with our decision-making. I definitely want to come back!

SO CUTE! Probably my new favorite coffee spot - amazing coffee, great music and vibes and super friendly baristas. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and seasonal items (and seasonal decor). Can substitute for vegan milks, which I really appreciated. They even made a version of their fig foam for me with oat milk! Also curious to see how it is as a wine bar, probably just as nice! Will have to come back for happy hour sometime

Basically everything I could ask for from a lounge. Plus, the owner was kind, helpful, knowledgable and attentive. The wine tap is a fun time. There's such a diverse variety of wines (more than two dozen), you could get lost in all of the good options. Something for all palates. I tried the small Sonoma board (which was discounted for happy hour) and it was a good-sized, cheese-focused board with solid combinations. the meat and cheeses come with cornichons, olives, and crackers. the caramelized balsamic onion jam was incredible with the sweet blueberry goat cheese and the spicy salami. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they got AC and immediately asked my family to visit. We have gone several times since then and we LOVE it. We do make reservations, but there have been open tables for walk-ins each time we have gone. Service is top-notch. We have had the same server each time and he banters well with my family- which makes the experience even better. Now, for the food. I recommend going for happy hour, but we do not always eat that early. Happy hour has great deals on appetizers and drinks. I love their grouper cheek sliders and fish dip. The hot sauce on the table is a datil pepper sauce and so very good. My favorite entrees are the blackened grouper sandwich and the baja-style fish tacos. I really cant wait to try the burger, but I love the other items so much I have a hard time not ordering those each time I go. My husband enjoys oysters and does not trust them at many restaurants. He is willing to pay more for quality, fresh oysters. Cheeky's is the place to go for oysters. He ordered the "best" variety for raw and fell in love with them. He also really likes the lightly breaded and fried oysters. They are not greasy and perfectly cooked every time. Drinks are fantastic. I got a special on Kentucky Derby day, a mint julep and it was so tasty. I usually enjoy their mixed drinks and my husband mixes it up between beer and mixed drinks. Recommend all of them. Intrigued by the Salt & Vinegar martini, but have not tried it yet. The restaurant is usually loud, casual, and lively. I feel completely comfortable bringing my grandkids and not worrying about how loud they are. We love the 'old florida' feel and recommend trying this place. We are already regulars.

I tried the Florida orange spiked tea, which reminded me of a classy long island in ways. It was delicious and well balanced -- 8.5/10. I was happy they had mocktails for my friends, too. It was a super inclusive menu overall. the fish tacos were substantial -- the fish was massive and so flavorful. A thick crispy shell of batter and moist, shiny and well-cooked fish on the inside. The fish was layered on top of a shredded lettuce/slaw/carrot mixture and a zesty, tangy sauce. loved this!! 8/10 I loved the texture, shape, length and crispy of the fries but sadly, my fries were super salty and it made them hard to eat. That might just be a one-off, don't let this deter you, the tacos were a standout. My friend tried the salmon dish and forced me to taste it. It was so unfortunate but the salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The only flavor I could taste was charred lemon and not in a balanced way, but in a sour way. Hush puppies were ok, nothing to write home about. Our waiter was cool! I hate having to ask for water :( but they were doing their best!!! The restaurant itself has a rustic maritime vibe, lots of wood and hanging fish and plank tables. I dig the vibe here! Casual, cute. I will be going back for happy hour and I'll update this when I do!

The service was flawless, especially considering it's run by such a small team. Chef Ian Florence and his wife Dayna Bennett, who warmly hosts and manages the front of the house, work in perfect sync alongside their sous chef. The timing, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality were incredible from start to finish. The meal unfolded like a perfectly orchestrated multi-course experience--starting with starters, then appetizers, sides, salad, and entrées.
