A lot of these people can barely play 4 songs... Fletcher Music starts you off with a little keyboard/organ and keep telling you that you need more. "We'll buy your "old" keyboard and you can upgrade to this new (more expensive) one." They talk fast and shove papers to be signed in front of people while telling them that they need to upgrade or else they'll never get better! And they keep you on the same payment plan without making it clear that you'll be making payments for longer than you originally signed up for. Mom finally did the math and realized she'd been conned. They then clean up the used keyboard and sell it for NEW!!! Taking advantage of the elderly is disgusting and these people should be run out of town. My mom has since passed, leaving us with a $30,000 boat anchor that Fletcher won't buy back and literally no one wants. We had a hard time even giving it away and it was only three years old and barely used! Scum of the earth taking advantage of the elderly. But that IS their business model.

Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville and all points nearby, are incredibly lucky to have him back! Tom is a highly professional voice teacher who adapts to his students' needs--offering both in-person sessions and online singing lessons via Zoom. He is a Heldentenor with extensive Wagner performance experience, including portrayals of several of Wagner's most iconic characters at prominent opera houses and music festivals: A former Resident Artist with Opera San José, he also studied at Sacramento State University. I moved to Florida in November 2025 by intuition and in April 2026, followed through in contacting Tom after researching voice teachers in the area. He was the only teacher I considered. And not based on his website alone, but by the intuition I felt when I contemplated the person I was reading about. He just felt...right. Right as a human being and right as a coach for a singer who had been away from the classical singing world, or any singing, for some 26 years. And indeed, my time with him has proven out my intuition. As a teacher, he is unparalleled in my experience. TOM IS NOT SOFT. By that I mean, he will have expectations of you as a student to do the work outside the studio (the vocalises and breath work). He hears what you cannot hear in your voice, he listens to you, he analyzes, he suggests, he can be quite firm in asking you to do and try during lessons, as a good teacher should, but above all, he has endless patience and gives endless encouragement. Tom creates a safe space, vitally important. He takes great joy in teaching and it shows. He also possesses boundless energy and humor which buoy you up when you hit the wall or are unhappy with aspects of your vocal technique in the struggle to improve.
