Absolutely disappointed and furious with this so called flower shop. I ordered a special arrangement for my wife's 50th birthday -- a huge milestone -- and I wanted something that would WOW her and everyone at her office. Instead, what was delivered looked nothing like what I paid for. It was small, dull, and embarrassingly thrown together. This was supposed to be a memorable moment for her, and they completely failed. For the price I paid (140), I expected quality, care, and professionalism. What we got was the opposite. I am beyond dissatisfied and honestly shocked that a business calling itself a flower shop would send out something this poorly made. I demanded a full refund and after filling a complaint, an investigation was opened where they determined that they did nothing wrong. This is part of their response- " We have reviewed this picture and we've determined that this order is filled to value based on our substitution policy. Their website is completely deceiving -- it makes it seem like they're a local florist, but they're actually based out of Florida and just use call centers to take orders. My aunt ordered flowers for my mom after her surgery, and they claimed the arrangement was delivered at 6 p.m. the day before. My mom never received them. When I called the next day, they told me they'd "email me a picture of the delivery." I said, what's the point? I'm telling you they were never delivered! I asked to speak to a manager, but was told the manager "wasn't there" and would call me back -- which, of course, never happened. After looking at other reviews, I realized I'm not alone. It seems like plenty of people have had the same awful experience with this company. The arrangement that finally showed up looked like something from Walmart -- wilted, cheap, and nothing like what was advertised online. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself. I spent over $100 to send something to my grieving son...something a chose deliberately for the sunflowers, roses and that tin vase and they lied and mislead me. I live out of state, and chose Ruth's Roses because they appeared to be locally owned, purchasing a bouquet to be delivered to my aunt in ICU after major heart surgery. After confirmation was received, they texted me saying they had no flowers for a Monday delivery, I approved the Tuesday modification. After calling, emailing and texting, I could not obtain a delivery confirmation. Now Thursday, I finally received a text stating they are cancelling my order without a reason. WHAT A SCAM! Ordered a premium bouquet ($115) to be delivered to my daughter's office as a surprise for her 40th birthday, the day before. Thought I was in contact with a local florist. I was not. I should have been wary of: 1) the number of floral options of the website (middleman for a larger org.) 2) the confirmation email...nowhere did it ask if or how (text / email) to update me on the progress of the order i.e. "preparing your order" "out for delivery", "delivered" etc. like other floral delivery businesses 3) nowhere to leave reviews on their website I emailed asking about progress of the order @ 10:45am. Was told the order was out for delivery. Called Customer Service @4:00pm was told it was out for delivery and would be delivered before 5:00pm since they knew it was a business. But, they had no actual way to contact the driver or get information. Emailed that evening for a refund and to express my opinion of their service. Multiple emails later... next morning, they send me a picture of the delivery. It was left at the front door of the business after 7:00pm. They close at 6. I live Out is state and called on August 15th and placed an order to be delivered to my son...after payment was made I later received a call stating g they would not be able to make the delivery as agreed in the 15th but requested a delivery extension to the 16 as "they would be receiving fresh flowers" on the 16th. Unfortunately on the 16th they sent a text (which I did not receive until I called them on the 19th) saying they would be cancelling my order and refunding my payment because they could not get the flowers I wanted.
