This barber shop is so dope! The space is quaint, well decorated, and the vibes are good! It's a very social and welcoming environment. Shannon is a master stylist/barber at Rusty Blade and has been cutting my hair for over 3 years now. My hair was super short, fried from bleaching, and broken in all sorts of weird angles. Now my hair is lusciously long and healthy and I know I wouldn't have been able to grow it out with such success with any other stylist. Now not only is she wicked with the shears but her clipper skills are on point. So much so that I have referred every man I know to see her and they are all now loyal regulars!! My boyfriend always comes home looking so handsome and the cut is always perfectly blended. If that isn't enough to convince you, Shannon is so gorgeous, incredibly down to earth, and fun to talk to! I usually go to the usual places like fantastic sams or supercuts to get my hair cut until a buddy of mine recommended I go to Jose for my hair cut. It was the best choice I could have made. He cut my hair how I asked and seemed to really care if I left his shop happy about it. It had been a hot summer already and when I came to Jose I had a full head of hair. Jose is my new barber and the only one I trust to cut my hair. I had a regular barber for over ten years but he retired. So I had to find a new one, not an easy task. I had one of my best hair cutting experiences here by Shannon. She customized my haircut exactly to what I wanted like no one has before. Not only was this the best haircut I've ever received with such attention to detail but they also do hot towel shaves and offer a wide variety of good beer. This spot is a hidden gem, I've been getting my haircut by Eddie, and he does an exceptional job every time. They're very professional and careful when they do skin fades and razor cuts. I've been to some places in OB where they don't even use shaving cream when straight shaving your neck. This place does it all, and more, without even asking! I just got my hair cut here by Shannon and I love it!! She trimmed my ends without taking much length off and re-did my undershave and it finally looks sharp again.
