This was our best meal of the week while on our family vacation. I consider myself to be a "foodie" with very high standards when eating out. Rustic Table was so delicious! After telling our waitress that we had some food restrictions (no dairy or grain), Chef Kirby came out and offered to alter several meals on the menu to cater to our needs. We had the crabcakes, meatloaf, ribs and shrimp with a ton of delicious side vegetables. Everything was so good and the staff was very accomodating with our family's diet. We decided to go here based on reviews. We got the crispy ribs, the blackened mahi salad, and a side of Mac and cheese. Pros: The serving sizes were nice and big (bigger dinner plates full to the edges; Mac and cheese was in a cereal sized bowl) The staff was friendly and helpful Everything tasted really good We sat outside and it was really pretty and quieter than inside Cons: The food took a long time to come, but it was a Friday night, so not unexpected The ribs had a good flavor, but they were fatty. There were a lot of them, but I would have preferred fewer non-fatty ribs instead. It was expensive (sides: $4; salad: $14; ribs: $18). That may not be expensive for some people, but at that price point I tend to expect amazing taste and service. Everything was really good, but definitely not amazing. Verdict: It was good, I'm glad we went, but I'm not sure I'd go back. I also feel that their seafood is probably better overall than their barbecue. read more

Terrible. Nothing we ordered was good. Everything was burned or overcooked. Many people in the restaurant were sending food back. Concrete floors and other hard surfaces makes the "dining experience" a "noisy experience". Staff was helpful but almost to the point of being in the way and just hanging out all the time. This restaurant is spectacular! We were visiting the area for a week and we wanted to come eat here multiple times! I got the chicken biscuit and gravy and it was delicious! Me and my boyfriend came here for breakfast on the way back home from Myrtle Beach. If we hadn't found it on Yelp, we most likely would've drove right past it. The staff is very nice and friendly. It is a nice restaurant but we felt extremely under dressed. We had just checked out of our room and threw on some clothes for the ride back....awkward. Our waiter Jullian was very nice and moved fast. We never had to ask for refills and our food was out in less than 15 minutes, it felt like. I got Adam's omelette (spinach, shrimp, tomatoes, goat cheese, gluten free) and breakfast potatoes. All of it was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got fried chicken, mashed potatoes and French fries. He said the chicken was one of the best he's ever had. We also got a side of deviled eggs, I thought those just tasted average. Other than that, everything was fresh and made to order, nothing processed or pre-cooked. Only down side was that we were too stuffed to try dessert but I definitely would like to come back when we're in town. read more

Excellent! Great service, nice drinks, and great food. To start you get nice warm bread with a delicious flavored butter. We had the brie, shrimp, scallop, mushroom starter with toast points, and it was phenomenal. I had calamari which was another appetizer for my entree, it was slightly overcooked but tasty. My husband had the shrimp and grits and was in heaven. The kids had Mac and cheese and chicken fingers, and to my pleasant surprise they were accompanied with fresh cut orange, strawberries and green grapes on the vine. Good beer selection and I had a blueberry mojito which was sweet but tasty! And by one I mean two. :) would definitely recommend and return. read more

First time eating here, we came for a late brunch (aka lunch) and overall things were good. Service was fine but I wish she'd come by a little more often to refill drinks. Adam's Omelet was great. One of the top three restaurants on the Grand Strand IMHO and I dine out in the area frequently. Absolutely 5 stars for service, food, price, and ambiance. Heather, our server, was excellent and very responsive to our table of six. Not overbearing while being attentive to the needs of everyone just at the right time. The food was outstanding - everything from the salads to burgers to fried chicken to green tomatoes. I only wish it was located closer to North Myrtle Beach. If it was, you can be assured I would be a more frequent diner. Next time I'm going to try the Bloody Mary. It looked like a meal in itself. read more

This restaurant is charming from beginning to end. We went on a Friday night but it's off season so it wasn't terribly crowded. The bartender was very knowledgeable about his beer and wine sections. The restaurant also has a great happy hour. We got seated by a very nice hostess and our waitress greeted us in a timely manner but was not overbearing. Food here is excellent, portions are large. We tried their calamari special, and the calamari was fried perfectly and the batter and sauce was flavorful. I had the Trout Almandine, my husband had the fried chicken, my parents had shrimp and grits and chicken Alfredo. Each dish was prepared perfectly. I tried their sangria and it was a peach and blueberry flavor, it was delish! This restaurant is one of my favorites when I come to the area to visit. You will not be disappointed!!!! read more

I believe I am a pretty reasonable person. This evening I brought my family to the Rustic Table. We had a 7:30 reservation. There seemed to be empty tables but it took a ten minute wait to be seated. We placed our order and waited and waited and 55 minutes later our dinner showed up. When I complained I was told they wanted to make things OK by giving our party free deserts. No thanks, I just wanted to get out of the place. The manager than showed up and told me that our bill would be reduced 25%. Tell you the truth, I didn't want that either. I did no enjoy the dining experience and will probably not go there again in the near future. If they hope to continue in operation, I hope they begin to think seriously about their customers. If I wanted discounts or free food I would probably eat at Kentucky Fried Chicken. If I want a nice meal out with my family, I don't believe it will be at the Rustic Table. read more

While visiting the beach in Georgetown, met up with some family who've moved to the area. We ended up having a large gathering of people (12 in all), so the staff set us up in a room in the back. While the service was good, it took a little while for them to figure out how to handle such a large group while dealing with a large lunch crowd, so the service was a little slow at first, but I have to say they caught up and met expectations. The menu was good--a lot of interesting choices, and the food was excellent--satisfying, delicious, and fairly priced. The atmosphere was casual and laid-back...very fitting for a beach trip. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves--and the food! Would recommend and look forward to returning. read more

We have been coming to Litchfield / Pawley's area for years and restaurants are a bit of let down on occasion. However, rustic table was fantastic. We just went for the specials, a bone in short rib that was huge and tender with a squash stuffed with sausage and grits it was fantastic. Wife had the trout topped with shrimp and scallops. She's still taking about 24 hours later! Service was very attentive and we sat outside on the cozy patio. Almost passed this place up cause it was listed as two dollar signs and it was an anniversary meal. This place deserves some props, check it out! read more

This restaurant was recommended by a gal who lives in Pawleys Island. We arrived early as it is Friday night. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my hubby ordered pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes. I wasn't sure I would like the grits, but my son-in-law said when you are in the south you have to order the shrimp and grits. They were absolutely yummy! Hubby said the pork was very good...served with wilted greens which were very tasty. The service was excellent as well. Would certainly return here again if we ever come back. read more
