Wanted to stop for a quick dinner, and this was the only place that could get us in on short notice, which was awesome. However, despite sitting at the bar our service was super slow. I had a Caesar salad which was just a piece of romaine heart with all the fixings on top.. so having to cut my salad into actual edible pieces was frustrating. I also had their Mac & Cheese, which was okay. My boyfriend did like his meal though, and our cocktails were good. Overall, I had a pretty mixed experience, but I think I would come back again just to give it another shot. read more

This was a great restaurant! I went there for brunch and they have a great atmosphere that is both cozy but also nice. The waitress was friendly and they did not rush us as we looked at the brunch menu. I had the Monte Carlo sandwich which had the right amount of cheese and ham and came with a delicious blackberry jam. We've been down is SC all week (from VA) and easily the shrimp and grits was the best meal I've had all week!! The food was delicious and all the staff was so friendly and enjoyable. We came to this restaurant after my friends suggested and raved about the place. They were definitely right! It was an amazing place! We came in on a Saturday around 10:30 and was seated right away. Looking at the menu beforehand I knew I wanted "The Comfy" and I'm glad I got it! The chicken was nice and crunchy; the biscuit was soft, and the gravy was good. Came here on a whim. We are so glad we did, our waitress was accommodating- answered our questions and gave awesome recommendations- then our food arrived and we were blown away! Our table had blackened Mahi salad, chicken alfredo, blackened Mahi dinner served over grits! We left stuffed and raving! Welcoming and great place to eat. The menu is pretty large and changes (somewhat) for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. It's full of southern offerings and there's something for everyone. We started with some fried green tomatoes, which were large, fried perfectly, and delicious. I had the BLT sandwich served with tomato basil soup and salad. It was a huge sandwich on rustic bread. The soup was a bit creamy for my taste but was still good. My wife had the fried oyster salad which was a daily special. Not sure if we'll ever be in the area again but we would definitely return. read more

I'm glad we tried this place after wanting a new brunch spot. We live Bisqit and Local over at the Hammock Shops but read about Rustic Table and wanted to give it a try. They have covered their outdoor patio and have ample heaters in addition to a large inside. We each started with French Onion Soup and the special Potato soup. Both were excellent. The French Onion Soup had croutons as the bread portion which were just to die for. Then I had the grilled Caesar salad. I'm a big fan of grilled romaine and it met all expectations. We went for brunch and I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with a biscuit. The grits at this place are ON POINT! It's not easy to get grits that are the perfect consistency and flavor when they are prepared in large batches. These were excellent. The flavor on the corned beef hash was also good, though some of the hash browns were a little greasy and not crispy like the top layer. The biscuit was slightly sweet and paired well with the butter and blackberry preserves. My companion enjoyed the country fried steak and was also pleasantly surprised by the grits. I may be a little biased, but this place runs on spectacular service and food. Everything is made fresh and with that homey feel. The waiters, bartenders and management are first-class and most every customer seems to be a regular or a tourist that's heard nothing but good reviews. I have tried all the salads and love them. The shrimp and grits are to die for. And they have bread. Bread is always nice. My moms go-to drink is the "Carolina Cucumber" which is a wonderful light and crisp vodka drink if you're looking for something refreshing! Definitely try this place out, whether you are only in the area for a day or you've lived here for years and have some how missed out. read more

We came for lunch. Excellent service and Dog friendly on the patio. Very clean and friendly. Patio is comfortable and cool. A big plus if your a north easterner. We had Fried Chicken Livers and Fried Gator. The liver came with a spicy ketchup which did a good job of cutting the velvety texture of the liver. The gator came with a mustard sauce that was a bit overpowering. Both were very good. For entrees we had the BBQ Brisket on Texas toast and the Oyster Po Boy. Again, both outstanding. The brisket especially deserves accolades. It was amazing. I would highly recommend Rustic Table. Of all the Pawleys Island Restaurants I would say it is only bettered by Bisqit, which so far is in a class of its own. read more

Our last minute refuge for dinner after unexpectedly loosing our Friday, 6:30pm reservation at another restaurant, we discovered Rustic Table It turned out to be a good find. Four of us were hoping to dine on fish and we were not disappointed. We snacked on calamari and jalapeños which was light and crispy. Two of our party split a generous serving of shrimp creole which was quite delicious. Another was pleased with a generous serving of shrimp and creamed grits made with spicy sausage, tomato, parsley, butter and white wine. I selected Ms Anne's salad which was a great combo of several of my favorite things: pecan-encrusted flounder, fresh baby spinach, pecans, dried cherries, crumbled blue cheese, bacon, & slivers of Granny Smith apples with balsamic dressing on the side. Our fifth party member succumbed to a meat temptation: the Southern Poke Bowl of pulled pork, buttered plantation rice, lima beans, collard greens, with Alabama white sauce. It was delicious. We all agreed it was well worth a return visit. Our waiter was very good and attentive, which added to the experience. read more

Our first visit here. My only regret is failing to take photos of the amazing food that was served. Great options for gluten-free dishes. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Crispy BBQ Ribs.
