He started a few small-ish projects in my 1860's house last fall and they're stIll not complete. Over the course of the months he's been working on this job he doesn't show up for WEEKS at a time, he doesn't respond to texts or phone calls, and in fact I'm about to get lawyers involved. Cannot and would not recommend him. He tells you whatever he thinks you want to hear then just does what he wants. Right now he's supposed to be finishing some trim painting in a couple rooms downstairs and installing a doorknob on a set of French doors. This time it's been two weeks since he's been here and he simply hasn't responded to texts or calls. Simply put, don't use him. You'll regret it.

He gave her a quote and said he could start within a few weeks. He emailed her the next day the paperwork/contract, she signed it and sent him a check for the down payment. He confirmed receipt of the payment and told her it would be a few weeks. After a few weeks she called him again and he said he would be out Saturday. On Saturday he texted and claimed he had car trouble and would be out Monday. And after that my mom hasn't heard from him at all. She called him 3-4 more times and texted him, with no response at all. He has, in essence, ghosted her after he got some money from her. The fact that this human chose to take advantage of my senior citizen mom is despicable and I recommend you NEVER call him. He will steal your money.
