So well furnished and equipped: kitchen, games, wood for fires, you name it. Bring yourselves and your clothes is all you need (and food if you are cooking!) Close by are some great things: Seed Savers just down the road, Toppling Goliath Brewery and others in Decorah, Bily Clock Museum and Dvorak Exhibit in Spillville ~25 miles away. A must see. You have access to a private spring, private waterfall, private cave, horses to pets, creek for trout fishing, trails to hike, fire pit stories and s'mores, volleyball, horseshoe, and a very large outdoor deck for eating and hanging out. What a slice of heaven! Rustic Acres is nestled on a beautiful private property with a small natural waterfall and many trees and flowers. The main house has 3 different decks and porches, plus a fire pit, so many places to enjoy the outdoors. The hosts are very thoughtful and will make you feel welcome. It's only a few minutes from the infamous Seed Exchange, and also a local winery, and a short distance from the cute downtown Decorah. I highly recommend! read more
