I'm sure Joe would be very competent and reliable in all mold issues.

I hired Kimball Handyman Service for leaking roof repairs, and VERY happy that I did! They found…read morethe problems, and knew how to fix them, and explained them to me in layman's terms, so I felt comfortable that they knew the best way was to fix it. Also, they had the lowest hourly rate ever. My home is aging, and about 4 or 5 companies came to give an estimate on the repairs. However, they all kept saying they could not do the repair on a roof that old, that they had to do a full roof replacement. They're estimates were all over $5000 and all from a well-known "list". I found and called some handymen online, and Justin called me back right away. Justin and his coworker came and looked at the problem and knew just how to fix it. They caulked the windows and the leaking indoors stopped! It is great to not hear the drip, drip, drip of a roof full of snow melting into your windows and needing to replace bath towels from the windowsills every day and also the possible damage inside the walls/insulation (mold or mildew). Then they were scheduled to return when the weather was warmer so that the tar and new shingles would stick better. For now, NO dripping, NO towels. Woohoo!!! I also plan to have them back for several outdoor and other projects Kimball Handyman Services can help me complete. If you want honest guys doing their best for their clients, call these guys! They will solve some projects for you, too!   DMC

We purchased 2 ceiling fans from Hodgson, and they recommend Lamplighter for install. A crew of 4…read moreguys came, were very nice, and we stayed out of their way while they did the install. At the end of the install, they let us know that the wall switches don't work and they may have purchased incompatible ones. We thought that was weird but no big deal, and they said they would call us back to install correct switches. They left. We checked the fans, which seemed to be wobbling quite a bit. We called Hodgsons to ask if that was normal and they had us check the fan blades, which slid in and out. Hodgson told us that the blades must be loose based on that, and that it isnt normal. I called Lamplighter back that day (a Friday), and the receptionist said they would have a manager call me Monday. No call Monday or Tuesday, so I left a message again. No return call. We had Hodgsons come out and they said they had talked to Lamplighter, and Lamplighter never told them about the incorrect switches. He also said that they had told him that they didn't want to speak to me because we were rude during install...weird because I helped make sure they navigated the large ladder upstairs, asked if they needed anything, and told them I would be downstairs out of their way during install, but to get me if they needed me. Hodgsons found several issues: all fan blades were installed loose, causing the wobbling. One fan had all blades installed upside down. The pin in the downrod wasn't put in in either fan, and they were unsure how Lamplighter got the wrong wall switches. I called Lamplighter AGAIN and they still refused to call back, even after Hodgsons talked to them about all the install issues. No apology, no call back...nothing. Hodgsons was EXCELLENT to work woth and repaired all of the errors made by Lamplighter. I would not recommend Lamplighter for both shoddy work and terrible customer service.
