A year later, after endless delays and poor communication, we finally made it to court, and that's when I found out he had made deals and decisions without ever running them by me. The end result? I walked away with far less than I should have, and I'm still angry about it. About $40k less. Then came the invoices. After paying the $2,600 upfront, he tacked on more than $4,000 in extra charges. For what, exactly, is still a mystery. And before everything was even resolved, he decided to retire, leaving me hanging and forced to hire someone else to clean up the mess he left behind. His assistant Olga(or whatever her role was) wasn't much better she was, short, rude, and demanding, like I was the problem for expecting clear answers or actual help. The final straw was when he pulled my 17-year-old son aside and started talking about religion and reincarnation. Completely inappropriate and completely unprofessional. Wade's work was sloppy, his communication was terrible, and the whole experience was a waste of money and time. I'm honestly relieved he's retired--he should've stepped away from this line of work a long time ago.

He only wants to do the easy Bankruptcy cases. He will not work for you, if you hire him you will be on your own most likely. He promised me I had a no fail case, I would never had upped it if he hadn't urged me to. He showed up finally to a deposition very late. Not please at all.

It was a very long four years of stress and grieve from this divorce, but she made sure to have the voice of my children and mine heard. I was in an abusive marriage (more so emotionally/mentally abusive) and it was very draining, my kids suffered and were traumatized more from it. In the beginning of our divorce, my husband played the victim and was able to manipulate the court to favor his side with no actual evidence and just all hear say from him. Karen actually did her homework did some digging and took the extra time to investigate and provide proof and took on my husband's manipulative, lying attorney and pulled them both out of the water and wrung them out. I am so happy she took on my case because she was hesitant at first to take on my case because of how nasty my husband and his snake of attorney had made it look.
