Down the pier view.

My wife and I were staying in Panama City Beach and the only reason this pier gets four stars is because they charge money to go on it. What!?!?! I have never seen this before. This is a pretty large pier and a lot of fishermen are on it, you are allowed three poles. They have pictures of some pretty big fish pasted up to the window. It is 1,500 feet long and has a nice concrete path down the middle and tons of Pokemon Go stops, if you play that walking game. Lady collecting money at the window was nice and your receipt is good for all day. The water is super clear and everyone we talked to was super nice, just like everyone in Panama City Beach. Pier Park is nearby, which has a lot of great restaurants like Angry Tuna and they have a Target nearby. We had a wonderful day, the day we bought the day pass.

Pretty neat pier. There is a charge though to walk or fishing on pier. We saw a shark and some jellyfish. The pier is taken care of no graffiti. It's a tourist attraction but well worth the visit.

A great place to take a moment and get your head together and make your soul feel right. It is called the Emerald Coast for good reason and this pier allows you to embrace the magnificent beauty of this part of the earth. So many only think of Panama City Beach as a party town, but there's a lot of beautiful places to take a moment and enjoy.

great spot to walk out and try to catch views of the natural wildlife. was on the pier for less than 5 minutes and saw a school of dolphins and man o wars. I did think $3/person just to walk out on the pier was a little ridiculous - but I did see many people setting up coolers and fishing so I'm sure a lot of people get their money's worth.

Not much to say about this because it's just a pier but you can really walk out far over the water so that is pretty cool. They charge a couple of bucks but you can get your hand stamped so you can come multiple times in the same day. If you are into playing Pokemon there is a Pokestop right in the middle so make sure you hit it. There is also a very nice porta potty with running water and everything in the middle in case you need a bio break. You can fish here for a couple extra bucks and there is even a spigot to rinse stuff off. There were a few people fishing when we were here but no one was catching anything. There is also a little shop at the entrance to the pier where you can buy supplies, drinks, and snacks.

The pier was lined up with spectators and those fishing

The bathrooms are filthy and I didn't feel safe at all. There needs to be more security and cleaning. All trash cans were overflowing.

Great long walk. Only $3 a person for entry the entire day. So you can leave and come back too. Amazing pictures and people watching.

Go for a swim, chill, or just take a long walk along the shoreline as this beach caters to anyone's needs. This lively place has it all; beach bars, families building sandcastles, and people parasailing/riding jetskis. There are so many seafood spots nearby too and there's even a pontoon rental or tours to the beautiful Shell Island, which I unfortunately missed out on but won't be making that mistake the next time around. Panama City Beach is a mix of perfect sand and warm temps. Yes it's that spring break spot so great for college students during that time and I'd probably steer clear during that time of the year but any of other time of the year it's the place to be for everyone else!

My neighborhood best friend, Charlotte's family, included me on their family vacation to PCB to stay in a motel with a *swimming pool* in PCB one summer when we were around ten or eleven years old. I still fondly remember our version of "crabbing" where we got a. a flashlight and b. a plastic bucket and scoured the actual PC beach at sundown to catch tiny crabs. We had so much fun doing this and absolutely begged her Momma to let us take them home and keep them as pets, which, of course was denied, and we would sadly release the little guys back to the edge of the Gulf! Fast forward a few years and my high school Sorority stayed either one or two weeks in a much nicer hotel in PCB with our fraternity brothers acting as chaperones (along with real chaperones). We girls worked so hard to earn the money for this trip meaning: gas, food, one night out to Captain Anderson's for a dinner cruise, one night out at a club (with fake IDs), any additional cash we would need (beer, putt-putt, additional clubbing nights) etc. We sailed in Hobie Cats for several days, and all wore our best spaghetti-strapped dresses and open toed shoes for our Captain Anderson's dinner cruise!! Thanks, Panama City Beach, for the myriad of fantastic memories and the upcoming tales to be told!

The condo…read moreitself was excellent, clean, and in a great location, which is why I originally left a five-star review. Unfortunately, that changed after checkout. Nine days after we left, Panhandle Getaways charged my credit card $105.51 for wristbands that we did not use, remove, or take from the condo. There was no valid reason for this charge, and I had to dispute it with my credit card company. Being hit with an unexpected charge more than a week after checkout is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their billing practices. No guest should have to worry about unauthorized charges appearing on their card after their stay is over. It is unfortunate because the condo itself was wonderful, but trust matters when booking accommodations. Due to this experience, I would not stay with Panhandle Getaways again and would caution others to carefully monitor their credit card statements after booking with this company.
