I would suggest to anybody these people are liars. It's a horrible dealership. I would not buy anything from them. There's plenty of other RV dealerships that will take ownership and responsibility of their mistakes. I spent $80,000 for a warranty in a van and I'm getting nothing for it. It's a broken van that I bought.

I looked up to see us passing Beckley's RV in New Oxford, so I turned around and pulled in and asked if they had someone that could look at it. Found out that we had a bad bearing hub assembly etc. Tim and Jeff got to work removing the bad parts and called the Thurmont location and they had the parts, so we jumped in our truck and picked them up. By the time that we got back, Tim and Jeff had the right side prepped and ready to receive the new parts plus they checked the left side as a precaution just to put our mind at ease. The whole staff was very friendly and made a stressful situation better. We are grateful for Tim and Jeffs efforts on getting us back up and rolling! They were a God send when we needed it most. I'm handy and expect to find some faulty situations after purchase, but soon realized today's RV's are thrown together without quality control before leaving the manufacturer. I fixed numerous issues, from several water leaks to stripped cabinet screws and loose ball hitch. Our RV only 7 months old. Make sure you check to make sure the washer on top of the ball nut is fully compressed and tight before heading down the road! I drilled a hole through the hitch bold & inserted a cotter pin with no play so the bolt can't back off. My frustration lies in the fact that the Beckley's New Oxford location is subpar. You have to consistently call or email their maintenance personnel in order to get results & followups are out of the question. My wife and I did them a favor by fixing most issues on our own, but some needed their intervention. We wanted to square away every issue possible before the year warranty period expires and didn't want to be inconvenienced by making numerous trips an hour and a half drive one way from our home. New Oxford, please hire more qualified staff to keep your good reputation from faltering any further. Thank you

I mistakenly stated that our vehicle met those requirements because we had pulled a boat in the past. When I attempted to clarify this instead of being helpful and try and explain it further the sales person said why did you say you had it when you did not? Called me a liar. Let me tell you, I would drive to DC before I rented anything from this place. I cannot even imagine how a customer would be treated if there was an issue with their products if this is how they treat you during a simple rental inquiry.

Recently rented a 32' RV for a 600 mile round trip to the Catskills…read more We are first timers and weren't too sure what to expect. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The rv was a slightly older model (our choice as it was less expensive). Regardless, it ran flawlessly up and back. I had questions and my calls to "Bob" were answered quickly and he did a good job making us feel relaxed and worry free. Now for the cons. Although few, here they are. 1) and most important, cleanliness. Exterior very clean, interior, not so much. Rug appeared to have never been shampooed, floors were not mopped. Although everything was wiped down, inside the storage cabinets were filthy, and this is where we are supposed to store our food? 2) the unit we rented boasted 3 cable ready tv's. Well, arrived at the campsite, started to rain so we figured, good time to try the televisions. None worked. I had the campsite employees check the signal coming in to the RV and it proved to be working perfectly. I even swapped out the provided cable wire with my own much better quality cable wire. After repeated calls to Bob and even with his prompt responses, the final answer was "it's never happened before". Although very apologetic, there was nothing he could do. It really wasn't the end of the world for us but beware families with teenagers as it will be a miserable trip for all. Next time we'll check before we leave. 3) this one isn't a con but mostly just bringing it up. To the owners of Freedom Rentals, why wouldn't you post your contract on the website? After providing you the required down payment wasn't the time to find out there was a substantial contract we had to sign. After thoroughly reading your contract, it's clear you must of been burned several times, but, we signed knowing that we would lose some of our deposit had we not. A tad odd? And finally, Upon returning the RV, on time I might add and much cleaner as well, (did I mention if we were late it would be a $25 charge?). Did I mention a similar charge if we were LATE to pick up the RV? Really? Maybe it's me, but no one asked us how the trip went, how the RV ran, if everything worked okay, nothing. Three days later we got our deposit back but still no phone calls, explanation about the televisions, nothing. Not even a survey. Being this is the first review on yelp, it's unlikely they will read this ....but maybe. Would we rent again., sure, now that we know all the rules. Will try the group in Harrisburg next just so we can compare. Very friendly group, Bob was the best, just a little strange business practices. I give three stars for cleanliness and lack of cable television. If it turns out I was wrong about the TVs, i'll edit it out. Hope this helps.

After explaining the reason for my call I could hear the phone operator speaking to someone in the background saying "there's a guy looking for free information" which I wasn't, to whom ever she was speaking to. I was just trying to locate a lower for a good customer. They didn't even take the engine s.n. or hull i.d. before blowing me off. I run a vet owned and operated business and the guy looking for the lower is a vet as well, not that that should make a difference, but we tend to stick together whether we are treated well or poorly and word gets around. I'm more than happy to spread the experience I had dealing with Robbins to anyone that will listen.

The fact they've been in business that long is testament to the service they provide to customers. That's one reason why I keep returning. I felt like the they treated me the same way they'd like to be treated as a customer. Consistent quality service is the best quality a business can aspire to. If there's one recommendation/idea I would make, it would lend towards notification a sale is in progress. I recommend customers wanting to purchase a vehicle to put down a deposit. Salespeople would put notification of deposit on the vehicle. This serves to notify other customers and salespeople it's off the market. This is just my recommendation/idea. It doesn't take away from the excellent service Worley Motors provided to me. V.F.

And they seemingly was working on following through and starting the process with me, and this was over tons of emails. But the contact from Worley Motors went silent on me for 4 days. It wasn't until I pinged again only to learn that the car I had been communicating for purchase was already sold. So much about the family business and valuing customers and what not. After all it fits exactly the stereotypical used car sales impressions everyone dreads.
