I always go through drive through but I went in because I needed to grab something as I was getting my medication filled and saw that 3/4 staff members weren't wearing facial coverings properly, or at all.

I asked the person at the front if they had ice because I was pretty sure I had seriously injured myself. She said Yep and pointed to the back of the store. I'm not sure why, but I was expecting someone would come out from behind the counter (as there were no other customers and at least two employees were working) and retrieve a bag of ice for me, but as it was they all watched me hobble to the back of the store and then hobble up again with a bag of ice nearly passing out. What strange customer service. I've thought about it every day since and tell people the story of when I broke my ankle in Rapid City how strangely rude the South Dakotans were. Especially at the Corner Pantry.

One of them had a question and the clerk, who was an obese man with a beard, snapped back at her and told her to just look at the bag. Made me almost sick to my stomach that workers at this store act this way to children. I know that the location of the store isn't on the greatest side of town, where there are always drunk people and other weird people that are around the area. But that doesn't give store clerks and excuse to snap at children for asking such a simple question. I've seen the price tags on bags of chips...sometimes they blend in with the bag and they're hard to catch at first glance. But this isn't the only thing I've seen happen at this store. There was a lady clerk who had snapped at kids as well on several different occasions. Even people who were just trying to get gas were snapped at by these store clerks because they didn't know they had to prepay. I was even forced to leave the premises, by the manager, just because I started a job and was only waiting for a ride to work one morning. I tried to tell the manager I was only waiting to get picked up by my co-workers, but he basically yelled at me and told me to get off the property. This store is convenient for me because it's down the road from where I live. Unfortunately, their staff seem to have bad manners at times.
