Very pleased with our movers' quality of work and work ethic yesterday 3/25…read more We booked an early/mid afternoon start window for our move from one mid rise apartment building to another in South End CLT. They arrived earlier than we expected and were done quickly too They had done a move prior to ours, and the weather was uncooperative. Still, these two young men were communicative, diligent and efficient--even when our sofa wouldn't fit in the freight elevator of the first building and they had to hump it down 7 flights of stairs! Thanks again guys!

They send two guys that struggle to move a queen Casper mattress - and comment that these are heavy and hard to move - because they had a busy weekend - excuses given for each item moved because they take a break between them to chat about video games, what they are doing on the weekends and that they have 3 hours after this move so they don't have any thing to do?? Is this why you're taking your sweet time chit chatting and standing around watching cars drive by? If you ask me what they names are - I have no idea - no introduction. I've used this service twice before and the guys they sent before were solid - friendly and professional. This time - the guys could have been anyone odd the street with no manners, awkward and needed guidance on how to wrap things up so they don't damage the walls - because as they moved the items in - scrapes all along the stairs to the 2nd floor (on a new build that had NO damage until we paid for the damage - that apparently came extra without a fee). I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND Sir Walter for any move whatsoever. Did I mention when I called their boss - they completely stopped talking to us - when we said thank you they ignored us and said nothing. But they stop chatting among themselves and are actually working a little faster #DoYourJob

I also asked if they were able to add a step or set of steps, and was prepared to pay for this additional work. I was clear this was not a warranty claim nor was I unhappy with the original work. His response: "We have evolved quite a bit since then and do not do any work that is not a complete teardown and rebuild." Basically, once they complete their project, they're done with you as a customer unless you have another project (see: $$$) for them. I prefer contractors who have long-term clients over one-time customers. Lesson learned here, hoping to have a good review for the decking contractor that is actually interested in keeping clients.

They let us know not only would our kitchen (which was already decent) be deep cleaned, cabinets would be cleaned out and the pantry would be cleaned as well. They stated they'd move everything out for us and we wouldn't be charged until after the service was inspected. The lady cleaned the house for 4 HOURS. With no cleaning products. She did not touch the cabinets or pantry and a message went out WHILE SHE WAS CLEANING that they wouldn't clean it unless stuff was moved . She moved stuff around in the refrigerator and left it piled on top of eachother. She ran the self clean for our stove which mind you a PREGNANT WOMEN was in the house. The stove cleaning specifically requires you step out and she didn't even warn us. She played music and ordered Uber Eats and promoted her own business. In the end we were charged before we could review. 250 dollars was charged. We called to let them know the service was not done and we wanted a partial refund which is 150 so that's pretty generous. The man offered only 50 dollars ! We had to let him know we'd complain then he offered a hundred. This service was a waste of time 250 for ONE ROOM and it wasn't done correctly at all. I've attached pictures below. Please don't even consider this company !
