This is such a wonderful place to visit for many activities! You can hike the many trails, bird watching, picnic with bbq pit available, and once a month you can interact with some wonderful and very knowledgeable group of people that will enlighten you to experience blacksmithing, explore the Kit House and all the birds, mammals, plants and life on the ranch. Missed the carriage ride this time but most definitely will be back next month to experience that and explore more trails! This is a wonderful treasure to be enjoyed by everyone!

After hiking 4hrs at Lynch Canyon Open Space we drove over to Rush Ranch Open Space since it's not very far away. It's FREE parking at Rush Ranch. It's pretty neat. There's a barn, horses, Water Tower, Visitor Info Center with stuff to read & pick up map/brochures there. Nobody was there to answer questions. Murals are pretty cool. Make sure you get brochures so you can do 2 hikes: Marsh Trail This popular trail is an easy, mostly level 2.2-mile walk that begins at the Visitor Center and heads west to an overlook of the Suisun Marsh and adjacent lands. South Pasture Trail A mostly level (but wet in winter) 2.4-mile trail that begins at the water tower south of the barn and leads to a small overlook and a large Native American grinding rock. The trail loops back around the south pasture, crosses a boardwalk and brings you back to the visitor center. Didn't see bones - bummed. Just don't do both when you're tired out like I was! Flushed bathrooms available. No dogs, horses or bicycles on Rush Ranch trails (dogs are allowed on Suisun Hill Trail only), and no collecting of flora and fauna. Directions From Highway 12 in Suisun City, head south on Grizzly Island Road for about two miles. The entrance gate is on the right. Hours Rush Ranch is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. (or dusk, if earlier) from March 1 to Oct 31, and from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. from Nov 1 to February 28. The Suisun Hill Trail across from the ranch is open from dawn to dusk everyday. Website here: http://www.solanolandtrust.org/o_l_rushRanch.php

Free parking and beautiful views. Unfortunately we did not get to view all the space has to offer as we were not mindful and neglected to bring mosquito repellent. We did not just receive a few bites - we received MANY bites and it was very difficult to continue the entire trek as it became EXTREMELY uncomfortable. So tip - carry repellent in vehicle at ALL times. Oy. The area we did get to enjoy was quite lovely and made more enjoyable by the cool breeze. There are areas by the marsh of course that are a bit more humid so dress in layers. My friend picked up pamphlets and in it notes areas of interest which are marked along the trail. Hopefully I have an opportunity soon to return and enjoy more of the space and share more photos to reflect of this space.

Wanted to take a wagon ride but I guess they don't do that every day:( plus it would have been a tractor pull not with horses:(

I saw the response from the "owner"! Interesting because the night of the wedding that I was…read morereporting the issues the owner handed me a card with her name, Angelina and her phone number on it. And told me if I had any more complaints or issues to call her personally and please reach out to her after the event. So like that isn't sketchy. Owner Leticia should probably talk to owner Angelina and get their facts straight and their story straight. Please note that I did not have a event venue contract with them, but they were more than happy to take my $450 cash for the beverage service that was never provided. They weren't making me sign a separate contract for that.

We had an absolute amazing experiencing having our wedding at Bella Vista Farms. The management was…read morerespectful, communicative, and efficient. We opted to add the farmhouse to our package for the weekend which truly completed the experience. The farmhouse accommodated a stay for our entire wedding party and was very spacious and comfortable. The glam room was beautiful and well kept, the doors were on a timer which was great as my wife had no issues accessing the glam room the morning of. The event hall was very spacious and we were able to fit well over 100 guests and a photobooth in the room with no issues. Overall, this venue is a luxurious experience and everything was executed perfectly. Angelina, Leticia, and Wendy - Thank you for the amazing weekend!
