This is the oldest church in Vienna and in itself is worth a visit. It is located at Ruprechtsplatz, an area with many pubs and outdoor cafes. Upon approaching the church itself you immediately get the feeling that the area is a local hangout. People are greeting one another and it seems away from the tourist section of the city.
As other reviewers have stated the church itself, other than the stained glass windows, and the very fact that it is of such historic significance, does not seem so impressive.
But what is impressive is the early music summer concert series: Alte Musik in Ruprecht that the church offers. We were fortunate to attend two of these concerts while we were in Vienna. The price is from 11-16 Euros and well worth every penny.
