The Harbour City location and On Lan Street location will have the full collection, but your choices may be limited in Lane Crawford. The location of the Harbour City store is next to common big names in the fashion industry. If you're looking to do some damage on the plastic, you've come to the right place. Their shoes as most of you will know come with a pretty hefty price tag, with the lowest end footwear item for about the 5-6k. The store layout is beautiful. They managed to intertwine both men and women shoes seamlessly. This makes shopping with your other half a bit more fun. =) The people working behind the scenes to make the space as inviting as can be do a great job from deciding which shoes to display to the little props being incorporated to grab your attention and lure you in. The staff here are also very nice. They do get busy and there will be times where you may need to wait to be helped. They try their best and are always cordial. I never feel rushed or pressured into making my decisions quick. This is important to me because I feel a lot of other companies may have staff that do such thing in Hong Kong.

But, when i looked more closely into the quality of some of these suits, i realized that many of these Tailors had a large internet/celebrity following but not necessarily a great reputation on certain bespoke suit website forums. Thus, i asked my hotel concierge at the New World Millennial Hotel and they recommended Charms. I decided to make my decision after I reached Hong Kong and visiting Charms vs Empire, and I just liked Charms more. Empire has a large following online and is ranked highly in Trip Advisor, but I enjoyed the larger space, atmosphere, and salesman in Charms and decided to go with Charms. I am extremely happy with my choice. I arrived fri am and had my first measurements done on fri at noon. I then came back 6 hrs later for a fitting where more measurements were taken. And then, i came back saturday for final fittings. By sun, i was able to pick up 2 suits and 3 shirts and easily catch my 3pm flight. I had also ordered an overcoat and it wasn't ready, but I just received it in the mail a week later. Now, back in the US, i've come to really appreciate the quality of a Bespoke hand made suite. My wife exclaimed that "it doesn't look like a sack" which i guess my other Armani suits looked like to her. It really does make a big difference when a suit is tailored to your body. I had 3 fittings which started on Thursday with my custom suit delivered to my hotel on Sunday evening. It fits perfect and it looks like a $5,000 USD suit. I picked the best fabric they sell and asked for a traditional 2 button jacket with traditional trim and lining. It is exactly what I wanted. You will pay more at Charms, but the professionalism and quality are evident right from the minute you walk into their studio.!!!

It appears to have the same stuff and is marketed the same in the layout of the store, with the one exception that this store is all on one floor versus being on two floors in Hong Kong. Great clothes that are structured, timeless, a great price point and with the exception of anything made from merino wool (I dont buy merino wool, because I dont like how it can snag), all of the fabrics from COS have washed really well and retained their shape with little worry. They do this by literally cutting the label out of the dress but it's easy to figure out who the designer is, ex. bandage dresses and jersey wrap dresses. The prices are reasonable too; HK$399-499 for wrap dresses (I bought 10!). A super bargain for pieces for work and travel. The ladies at this store usually recognize me and ask why I don't come more often. I say I only make a yearly pilgrimage to Hong Kong because if I visited more often my closet would explode. For 陳富記, (plastic) cobbling for a pair of shoes sets you back HK$90 with a next-day pick up. I had my shoes shined as well for HK$45 a pair. Naturally, they also have on-the-spot shoe shine service where you sit down for around 5-10 minutes while he glosses up your shoes; the price is different I believe, but I have yet to confirm. If you have patina or other more exotic shoes, I would recommend you go somewhere else for your shoe care.

I've seen them stock big names like Sam Edelman and Tory Burch, so Pedder Red definitely has its share of luxury shoes. Mid-range brands like Keds and Toms are sold here too, and they have Toms shoes in a bunch of adorable prints! They have their own line of shoes as well, featuring staples like regular flats and pumps. The shop assistants at Pedder Red are generally helpful - when they see you looking at something, they'll let you know that they can look for the one in your size if you'd like. They seem to be pretty good with sizes and I've never been told that my size isn't available, except during sale seasons when things get snatched up by the minute. And speaking of which, one of the best thing about Pedder Red is their sale seasons. During this, they arrange the shoes according to the sizes they are available in - for example, there'll be a section in the store with just size 37s and another section with just 40s. I really appreciate them doing this because that way, I won't be wasting time looking at shoes that they don't even have available in my size anymore. There's nothing more heartbreaking than falling in love with a pair of shoes, only to find out that they only remaining pair is a 40! Their sales are pretty generous too. Expect discount of around 40% or 50% off, so it's no surprise that Pedder Red is packed when they're on sale, especially during weekends and holidays. I can't resist going into Pedder Red when they're on sale, even if it's just to take a round! One thing though is I have tried putting on the flats that come under their brand, but they are quite uncomfortable. The material is stuff and gnaws at the sides of my feet. Pedder Red is definitely worth checking out especially when they're on one of their major sales. Their summer-transitioning-to-fall sale is on right now so there's no excuse not to pop by just for a look!
