I reached out to Bassike after my $600+ purchase, having them for only two weeks, worn about 5 times and the leather has torn on the heel area, both shoes and looks shabby. Basically Bassike Customer Service made it very clear they would not be replacing them, after reaching out twice. I have never experienced such poor Customer Service, so disappointing! Oh but apparently I can make an arrangement to take the shoes into the store for further assessment but was made clear that the decision is not likely to change. Well thank you for your premium service Bassike. Perhaps stay away from footwear sales.

I just bought an awesome t-shirt from Insight's Garage Artist's range, designed by Japanese artist Yaki Allen a white shirt featuring a black hole design, very cool. They also have the coolest headphones and ear-plugs, I have seen on sale in Sydney, I particularly like a pair of 80's style smaller wire headphones but with a ultra-modern design and in blue, red and yellow colour (that's three colours in one pair, not three separate colours, bit out of my price range, but everyone needs a dream.

The fit out is breathtaking and definitely up to world standards (think Opening Ceremony in Tokyo or Colete in Paris, only slightly more conservative in aesthetic). The product assortment is beautifully curated. The last time I was there the lady that served me was really helpful. I was looking to buy a shirt. She showed me the whole collection and explained the differences in each of the shirts. Her knowledge of the products they sell was incredible. They take a very service orientated approach to sales, which I love. They even offered me a cup of tea or coffee while I was viewing the collection. I will definitely be coming back. Suddenly the huddled masses could afford stuff the Hiltons were wearing, oh happy day! Sportsgirl remains a hugely popular brand across several demographics, and the Bondi Junction store is the best of the lot. The staff here are really lovely, something I've found amiss in other branches, and the shop is currently themed "American Road Trip" (I think, they don't have a big sign up or anything!)- it was enticing enough for me to wander in when I'm meant to be saving. Sales racks are towards the back and scattered around the edges of the shop, and they stock great accessories as well as clothes you might just see a Hilton in one day.

I went to one shop elsewhere where they advertised some clothing as new arrivals...but this store said it was last seasons stock. They have a fast turn over and are ready to get last seasons stock out the front with at least 40% off. Great place to visit if you are travelling overseas where it is cold at the moment.
