We've stayed in the cabins at Quinns and the big lodge (noisy) at Quinn's and I can tell you that our room here at Glacier was really similar to the inside room at Quinn's lodge rooms. Very pleasantly surprised to have a frig, micro, big TV, coffee, log bed and very clean. I read some of the reviews and I'm really surprised at the negative ones. Those people must be use to 7 stars and paying a fortune. This was our first stay here and VERY Nice as with the lady in the office, very helpful. And with the inexpensive price here your hotsprings soaks are included so WOW GREAT SAVINGS!!!! THANK YOU GLACIER CROSSROADS for keeping your prices very affordable for the average family.

The lodge is in a truly magical setting in the Mission Mountains and is very clean and comfortable. We were able to to take a relaxing soak in the hot tub and enjoy the crisp, clean mountain air. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning with local sausage, eggs, blueberry pancakes with homemade huckleberry syrup and fruit. The best part was the conversation we had with Ann and a fellow visitor from Germany about the region. It was everything I had hoped for and more in a visit to a bed and breakfast. The next day, we were able to explore Ninepipes and the National Bison Range which are both a short drive from the Lodge. We plan to make Bear Spirit Lodge a regular destination point.

The floors are wood laminate which I appreciated because many times carpet has stains. I dropped a little water on the floor so I wiped it up and sadly, the tissue was black (see photo). The Sturgis motorcycle rally was coming to an end so there were some bikers next-door. They thought it was a good idea to sit outside our door and talk very loudly about their experience at the rally. That's not the motel's fault of course. I do feel like it's a little pricey for what you get but I would not recommend anyone avoid this place because overall, it was fine.

The walls are old cedar, the bathrooms are very small, but the places in good repair for its age and is therefore quaint. I am leaving a four star review because the woman owner and proprietor was adorable and very sweet. As a plus, the spot is adjacent to cute regional shopping and a very good little restaurant .

Person answered to say I didn't reach the front desk, they couldn't transfer me / didn't know the number, told me to Google the hotel number then hung up on me. Rude. Restaurant is very breathtaking with the view of the mountains and food was awesome. At the time of breakfast which they open at 8am, we were the first party to arrive. They had specials that morning which we did not try but sounded delicious. We ended up having stuffed pancakes, eggs and steak and yogurt muesli berries for breakfast and for dinner we had ribeye, clam chowder soup and also the beet salad. We booked directly, at the last minute, over the phone, and couldn't yet specify the number of nights we would need our two-bed room. The owners were completely flexible about that and we kept them apprised of our plans as soon as we knew them. This is a "self-serve" motel in that no one is on-site. You are given instructions on how to access your room, including the door code, before your arrival, via email. The same door code gives you access to an "amenities room" where you may pick up extras such as blankets, toilet paper, etc. The building is one-story, cute and a little dated. The room was furnished with two queen sized beds, a glider rocker, 2 nightstands, a microwave, a small coffee maker, and a large flatscreen tv with Dish satellite. There is an easily adjustable wall heater that makes it nice and warm quickly. Our bathroom had a tub-shower. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. Across the street is a cafe that serves lunch and dinner, and currently serves breakfast just 1-2 mornings a week. They give a discount to motel customers. About 3 blocks away is an espresso drive-through. So the location is convenient to important morning needs! :-) Whenever we had a need, we could text or call the owners and always got an immediate response no matter the hour. After four nights, we planned to leave but there was a winter storm warning so we weren't sure if we would be able to make it out. They were willing to hold our room for us until we knew we could make it out and just let them know by texting. We really appreciated their willingness to be so accommodating and flexible. Would definitely stay here again.

Bailey spotted a Black Bear on the trail ahead of us, and after staying still, it went on its way. What a bonus experience! Highly recommend this Ranch and all of their friendly and accommodating staff! Can't wait to go back!
