The open space has a calm atmosphere, with a small garden in the middle and majestic historic buildings surrounding it, including the Royal Danish Theatre, Hotel D'Angleterre, and several high-end shops like Rolex. It's a convenient meeting point and a pleasant place to pause while exploring the city. There's even a small pub on the corner, perfect for an Aperol Spritz on a warm afternoon. I don't claim this the most beautiful place in the city, but it's nice to pass through.

I have been to the flea market in Nørrebrohallen a couple of times now and it strikes me as being…read morequite similar each time, even though I get the impression that there are different people/organisations behind it. First impression when entering the hall to start browsing for gems: omg, too many people, I'm just gonna buy a cup of coffee and stand by the entrance. And maybe a piece of cake, because they always look tempting. After making a plan to browse through once and then go in for the second time knowing what's there, I dare to venture out into the jungle of worn out shoes, old toys and smelly clothing and the occasional gem. I'm very particular when it comes to buying treasure found at flea markets. It either has to fit my retro home in just the perfect way, be so cheap and silly it makes the perfect present for a friend with a sense of humor, or it has to be an outrageously ugly piece of clothing. Something so ugly it looks cool and people will have to think that I am wearing it because I realize that it's so ugly it's cool. All of these things were found on my last visit to the flea market. A Royal Copenhagen bowl, a dead deer head for my friend and a fluffy golden sweater from Ganni for me. All bought for extremely fair prices!

Everything can happen at Blågårds Plads. Nørrebro is turning into hipster heaven, but this square…read morewill never surrender. Every morning you can meet the local drunks with a beer at one of the many benches. The young men may play football in the big sink in the middle of the square. Sometimes they are just annoying and are harassing everybody. Small children are playing at the small playground. People pay the great library a visit (they have a large collection of boardgames and comic books). You can play a game of pingpong. During the year Blågårds Plads host a big range of events - all kinds of music and cultural festivals, 1st of May, bike races, flea markets, and I can't imagine what.

I love this park. You can literally find something cool to do in this park for every season…read more In the Spring, you can take a peaceful walk amongst the blooming foliage and spot wild deer. During the Summer, you can pack a picnic and enjoy in the the park. You can even spend a night camping! This park produces an ample harvest of apples and wild berries during the Fall. And the changing colors of the leaves is really beautiful. Lastly, you can walk through the park in your own winter wonderland during the Winter when there is snowfall. Don't forget to bring your sled so you can slide down the only "hills" in KBH. There are designated paths that are well kept and provide great routes for running or walking. But there are countless paths that branch out deep into the park if you're feeling extra adventurous. The paved paths are always well-maintained and plowed/salted when there's snow. And then there's of course, the famous "hills" that provide a nice hike and great views from the top. During your visit, don't forget to keep the park clean! They have plenty of designated trash bins on the trails and along the bike paths. Keep this place beautiful!

I will always associate Pildammsparken with angry territorial geese since I was almost attacked by…read morethem during my first time ever in Malmö, but my rating has improved still after. Sure, the angry geese are still there - you better watch out for them - but this nice park is one of the best parks there in Malmö and when I say parks, I meant many since Malmö truly have a lot of nice parks for such a compact city (compared to Copenhagen). If you need "time out" after spending the day shopping and helping the Swedish economy, maybe you could have your fika as takeaway and head here on a nice summer / autumn day
