Unfortunately, the removal process for my dip nails was not ideal--the technician began to pull and grind them off without soaking, causing discomfort. It was only then explained to me that they specialize in acrylic nails and don't offer dip services. Despite scheduling a two-hour appointment for a dip French manicure, I ended up receiving acrylic nails instead, without color. The shade of white available was too bright for the look I wanted. While I appreciated the effort of the staff, the overall experience was disappointing due to miscommunication about services and the painful removal process.

I let it slide because I don't like confrontation and I know it was probably a bad ingrown nail. She finishes with the polish and asks if I'm getting my nails done too. I said yes and I would like to use the same polish. She said okay and took me over to the manicure station. It's been awhile since I've gotten a full set so I just let her do her thing. She files and trims my cuticles. Once again I'm bleeding. Once I realized she was placing a base coat on my pinky I said "oh I'm here for a full set." She looks up at me shocked, then changes her look to a 'what do you want me to do about it'. She tells me "I already started on gel polish." Mind you this was just the base coat, uncured, on one finger. She could have easily wiped it off. She argues back and forth with me before I finally say whatever and let her proceed. I'm watching her closely, my thumb was still visibly bleeding, and as she put the polish on, it's streaked with blood. She proceeds to dip the, now contaminated, brish back into the polish, making me wonder if this happens with many people. My nails look as if a 1 year old did them. When it was time to pay there was no offer to bring me back and discount the full set that I originally intended on. Overall the service was terrible and I will not be going back.

As the Salon has chosen to force my hand in the matter I am leaving reviews and spreading the word…read moreon the lack of professionalism as well as the fact that this Salon chose to go on a "tattooing" venture, all the while hiring an artist that if not in Elko county would not be able to tattoo anywhere due to not having their state of Nevada body art card (I confirmed that EVERY OTHER SHOP IN ELKO has artists with this body art card by the way). They have no business having a tattooer in their shop, let alone a brand new artist. My leg is literally black and blue, yellow and green, it looks like someone took a baseball bat to my thigh, the line work is worse then if I went to someones shoddy basement tattooer and they seem to have zero problems allowing such horrific product to come out of their salon. Blow outs, lines missed, scaring, permanent damage, and I had one of the ladies there laugh in my face and say it's not healed you can't say any of that yet.... you guys are an absolute joke. All I requested was a refund- you know so I can go to a reputable tattoo location that can put in the serious time and dedication needed to make this okay.
