A season ticket is available. There are no toilets. Within the car park there is a recycling centre for glass, tetrapaks, paper and magazines and is accessible 365 days of the year (unmanned). A funfair takes place in this car park twice a year so (presumably) you will not be able to park there at those times!

This is the St David's offering and its far cheaper than any of the cities NCP's, its above all the shops so you can't get any more convenient and there is always space. Parking will cost you about a pound an hour unless your there over 4 hours when it goes up. After 5pm it only costs £1 for the evening, perfect for late night shopping or a meal out. You can get your car washed too for a fiver! The slight problem is it takes about 5 minutes of driving through a circular tube up to the car parking levels. I have an intense fear of breaking down everytime I go in and leave. The other reason I wanted to mention this car park is the little known view you get of the city from the top. Really if you want to get an ariel view of all of Cardiff's sites, take a trip up there!

Its £1 per hour which you have to pay up from, rubbish if you decide to stay longer or food takes a while. Parking on the roof usually means getting your car pooed on by the resident seagulls. This caught me out last time I parked here, when I was on a meal with some colleagues, as I suddenly realised the time and had to leave abruptly to get back to the car before my Pay & Display ticket expired. In an area where people want to enjoy a leisurely afternoon or evening, paying up front is not the best system, and I think it would be far better if you could pay at the end of your car park stay. Rant over! Other than that, it's open 24 hours; costs £1 an hour (or £9 for 8 hours); it's not too vast, dark or scary; it's very close to all the action; and there always seems to be a few spaces available (380 in total).
