From time of the quote to time of service was, I think unheard of, 5 days! We purchased a property fall of 2021, and it had at least a dozen 70â to 80â trees and half of them were branching out over the house and leaning towards the house. Two weeks after we closed on it a huge branch fell on the outside boiler, which we then were unable to use for the winter. Since then we had been looking for an affordable and safe way to remove the trees from around the house. After months of searching and extraordinary price quotes we were recommended to Chris and his team. We called for a quote and unexpectedly he was able to be there the same day for it! Then came back the next day with a co-worker to double check how to do it safe and affordable for us. The quote ended up being over less than half of all the other quotes we had been given! Not only that but he then said he and his crew could be there and start with in 5 days, our minds were blown! They were fast safe and clean. We told them we just wanted the trees down and weâ d take care of the rest. They went above and beyond by chunking it up and making nice piles! Mr. Free was hired because of his positive business reviews, competitive pricing and commitment from him he would complete the work even though it will require multiple trips. Regarding the multiple trips we were told we would not have to pay until all the work was completed. To our surprise we received an invoice for his first day's work. We reminded him all payment when all the work was completed. He explained his need for the billing. We agreed to a partial payment after he removed the stumps. The stumps were removed, the partial payment was made. Furthermore we were of help with his billing by introducing him to several neighbors who were in need of tree service. It is now August, trees need to be dropped and Mr. Free will not return our phone calls nor respond to email request. If you plan to employ Jim Free Tree Service do not make the mistake we made. Pay only when all the work is completed.
