Looked like a great little Italian eatery and first impressions were good, but then the waiter messed-up our drink order, took over 1/2 for our food to come, once it arrived it was god awful and an insult to Italian food. But it gets worse, the waiter never returned to check-on our party of five, instead he was too busy playing guitar for another table. Once we were ready to pay the bill, we were told that it was a cash only and the bills were not correct...seems like the original waiter forgot to add the drinks to the bill and the new waiter was making-up the prices as he went along. Not a way to treat your customers. As for the food, I ordered Saltimbocca and it ended-up being rubbery chicken and ham with an out-of the-box cream sauce. I would suggest Pizza Hut across the street and I truly dislike Pizza Hut. If there was an option for negative stars, I would select it as the rating for this dump.

Besides the fact that it has an open kitchen so you can see how they are preparing your dish, you can taste the freshness of their ingredients that are visible in the counter. The pasta itself is cooked as it should. If you bite it, it feels tender in the mouth, yet with a little bite to it. Just how it supposed to be. (Instead of that mushy pasta most places serve.) Every week there are new pasta suggestions. And the pizza's? they stick to the basics, that way you'll also taste the toppings AND the pizza itself. You can surely taste the difference with other pizza places. Deffinitely a must go! The price range of pizzas & pastas is between €13 - €18 (give or take..)

The service is prompt and friendly and this place is so popular on weekends and Fridays you HAVE to call to get a place for dinner. I can't recommend Cucina 48 highly enough!
