You have to talk to the pharmacist and tell them your symptoms. At that point, they go to the back and bring you what will help. The medication worked as he was feeling much better within couple of days. The pharmacy is very clean and organized. Very polite and helpful staff. They accept Euro and Credit cards.

It's south of Placa Catalunya and across from the entrance to Bouqueria Market. It's open 24 hours a day. The young pharmacist, who spoke good English, couldn't have been more helpful. Understand, the strengths and formulations of some well-established meds are different in Spain, so here's where the pharmacist's knowledge & helpfulness kicked in. I had my prescription bottle with refills remaining with me, so he was able to substitute a different formulation that is available in Spain of the same medication. It seems pharmacists in Spain have a great deal more "authority" and seem to be the first line of medical care. He took all the time in the world to explore some available options. I won't even discuss the cost, but it was a fraction of what you'd pay in the U.S., even with good medical insurance.

They have a specialist for everything that has to do with skin care and It's perfect because I have very sensitive skin and it's not that easy to be well advised. They also offer tests to know what type of skin you have so you can apply the correct treatment. Generally all they are very nice and are always willing to help you in what you need. As an expat, the money you pay on Seguredad Social amount to between 150 and 250 Euro per month (out of an average salary of 1600 Euro before taxes), for which you get waiting lists for up to 1-2 years and doctors that don't speak English. With this in mind you would think that private hospitals would fill the void, right? Wrong. Places such as Clinica Corachan steal your money and deliver below-par performances that do not take care of the physical issues you have now paid twice for, publicly and privately. They do perform painful examinations though, which have no connection to the ills you have. They also don't speak English, and they do not answer your e-mails for follow-up questions and answers. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Pero cuando el xray se acabado(solo gelo entrando,no me deja entrar dentro)..vuelve ser animado.. :) Y luego, alas 3pm. volvemos para pediatricia..para la granos pequeños que tenia en la cara.. la doctora esta no es amable..me hecho la bronca por que me ha dicho que no tenemos datos y falta un vacuna..y no hay un año que hemos sido aha para la prueba de ojos de gelo..y claro no me han dicho nada..y no es la primera vez que hemos pasar por ahay cuando esta preguntando ya questiones, y venimos en tema allergia, solo querro enseniar lo que gelo tenia en cara,si es allergia o no y me han dicho, todavia no estamos con el, vale por respeto me cayo.
