I needn't have bothered: not only did my technician complete one foot without me noticing but also rendered the nails to perfection I had to stop working on my computer multiple times to see of the technician had fallen asleep: I could not feel a thing. And the nail job -- EASILY one of the best manicures I've ever enjoyed. If I was being really nitpicky I would mention that the sofa in reception has small stains on it, the little cup of water they offered just felt like an afterthought and the way the foot tub area is designed is awkward for men and taller women. I waited about a week for a refund and didn't receive my money back. I emailed a couple of times without a response before finally calling. After the call, they emailed me saying the money had been refunded but they were still charging 5 euros because "that is what the system charges them." I understand fees exist, but why does the customer have to lose money for cancelling an appointment on time? This was not indicated anywhere during the booking process. Highly disappointed.

I asked for a black shellac manicure, they started to put it on my nails, then she realized the color was terrible and they ran out of black. Then they told me they don't have time to give me a shellac manicure so they instead painted my nails black (non-shellac). However when she painted them black, she only put one coat on and it looked terrible because she didn't care to even make it look good because they gave it to me for free. Then I told them I was disappointed with my experience and she responded with telling me that "I'm sure you make mistakes with the job you have so we all make mistakes" instead of just owning up to it. Not a way of handling customer service. I wish the woman realized that the color was terrible before putting it on me instead of just putting it on me. The waxing rooms are located down the hall far away from the reception and nails area so you have complete privacy. My beautician was Lara who was very friendly. The wax they use here is incredible! It's very thick and velvety. It was by far the most painless waxing session I've ever experienced- and yes it was for everything down there. The price for "pubis sencer del tot" was only 18 euros- a bargain by US standards. Everything on the price list seemed very cheap compared to other places in Barcelona. When I came I had pixie cut with top length bleached and the rest was my natural dark blonde. I discussed the choice of hair colour with the only person who could speak English and she was translating to the rest of her colleagues. They suggested to bleach my hair completely for even colour effect. I agreed and so they proceeded. They applied bleach heavily on my hair and scalp and to my surprise left it on for about hour and half. I wasn't informed how long I was supposed to have it on my head or anything. They simply sometimes came and checked the processing so I trusted them as professionals. After about 2h they finally decided to wash it off and afterwards shampooed my hair. I was not told anything they were doing but they mentioned toning before so that's what I thought they were doing. Much to my surprise they applied bleach again. Left for some time (I have no idea how long I was not told anything) and came back to wash my hair again. Applied bleach again. This repeated for around 3-4 times. I was not told anything. Afterwards they washed it off, shampooed my hair again and I don't recall them applying any conditioning treatment or anything of that sort. I got up from the chair and freaked out at the look of my hair in the mirror. It was yellow, incredibly, badly looking yellow. I thought they would maybe finally tone my hair but they started blow drying it instead. I told them I don't like the yellow at all. They tried to convince me it's not yellow despite of me hearing them speaking in Spanish mentioning yellow over and over again. After I expressed my dislike for the chicken yellow hair they put me in the chair with the sink again. Again I wasn't told what they were doing at all. They informed me afterwards they applied bleach again! They left me there until I started complaining because it was burning my scalp. At last they washed it off and applied silver shampoo or something of that sort about three times on my head. Blow drying followed and yet again, my hair was yellow. As the hair dried my scalp felt incredibly sore and dry. I felt like my entire face was pulled backwards and my hair felt awfully dry and paper like. I complained about it but they said it was normal and also said my hair is healthy because they used ola - plex. Now, I know that's supposed to somewhat protect your hair but my hair didn't feel healthy at all! It was like bad bad bad dry grass or whatever. They did not listen to my complains claiming everything is perfect. Behind my back they were talking in Spanish about how it will look good on the photos on their website once they apply filters. I left feeling regretful and uncomfortable. After few minutes of just walking my scalp became unbearably sore. It was painful, hot, burning and just the worst experience. We came back and all they suggested was applying another shampoo!!! We refused and asked them politely to return my money as I paid 135€ for basically burning my scalp and hair. They refused and said the job is well done. Overall... The worst experience ever. Spent almost 5 hours in there and left with PTSD and burns. This experience will make me not go to any hair salon for very long time. The photos are from day later after I applied heavy amount of argan oil and conditioner in other to hydrate whatever was left from my hair.

Small but mighty - this is your location for inexpensive and quick waxing…read more You enter a non-descriptive door off of a crazy busy tourist street and go up to 1st floor (2nd floor lol). Even though they buzzed you on the front door, they will need to buzz you in to the establishment. She'll take your name. You'll have a seat in the very sparse waiting room and they'll be with you quickly. To get the lower legs waxed you go into a room that's curtained off you step up onto a funky shelf where there's a little bars to hold onto. She comes in with a pot of hot wax and has you tested on your leg. If it's a little too hot, she'll stir it some more. Then you get slapped with wax on both side sides of the legs all the way around and she peels it off quickly. Totally painless. And then because this is not only a efficient establishment they are thoughtful one they do it a second time around so that all the tiny little hairs get taken off. When you come to get down, she'll give you cotton an alcohol to clean your feet off before you put your shoes on. You go upfront to pay, leave a tiny tip (1€ or so) in CASH (they prefer), and you're on your way. Easy Peezy. No appointment needed and you should be done within 15 minutes or so. TL/dr: fast and easy but super efficient and cheap leg waxing
