When we got back home our smallest dog was bleeding a bit from where the blood was drawn. We cleaned her up and didn't think much of it, but later on we noticed it was still bleeding and would not stop. We ended up having to take our dog to an emergency vet and it was kept overnight for observation while they finally got the bleeding stopped. This happens, probably comes with the territory, I get it. It's a small, jumpy dog who probably moved when they had the needle in her and she got injured (though one assumes they'd have control of her before putting a needle in).However, no mention was made of this happening during the appointment. When we presented the vet (who, again, is a very nice man) with paperwork from the emergency clinic detailing what they think happened, they did not accept any responsibility for their mistake and offered us nothing in terms of recompense. Our appointments with the dogs totaled over a thousand dollars, plus the cost of the emergency animal clinic (which, as you can imagine, is not cheap). This, we will not be returning and can no longer recommend them.
