I came across Maddie and thought I've give her a shot. I am not too fond of going to someone's house and I thought I would give it a shot. I am glad I did. She was very nice, very fast, and very understanding. Not to mention, she is fairly priced compared to other places, especially the place i've already stated for a piss poor job. After trying many groomers, I found Artistic Pet Salon. This place is the complete package as far as I'm concerned. From the handoff of my dogs to the very courteous staff to the haircuts/designs that my dogs had when I picked them up was awesome! My female Poodle even had her nails painted pink! Professional from every aspect. Additionally, I found this salon to be very clean, which I cannot say about most others that I have tried in the past. The cost of the grooming, which included ear cleaning and nail clipping, came at a very fair price. My Poodle's are always happy to see Laura when they return to Artostic Pet Salon, which tells me that they are treated well when they are being groomed. They are absolutely terrible at scheduling their own appointments. I spoke to somebody on the…read morephone about three days ago to schedule an appointment for Friday at 1 PM. Friday comes around, and I drop my dog off. Cool, no problem. The lady told me my dog would be ready in about 2 hours. 3:30pm comes around and so I park outside waiting for a call and 30 minutes, still nothing. So I walk inside and the lady tells me that I never had an appointment. She thought I was another customer who was scheduled for around that time apparently. So she said she can squeeze my dog in and be ready in an hour. Made no sense because I showed her the time/day of the phone call and she had nothing to say. Mind you, it's 5pm and now I have to wait ANOTHER hour for my dog to be ready. If I never parked outside of the building and went inside to ask about my dog, I would've never gotten a call because she told me she didn't even have my name and phone number. Absolutely ridiculous. Edit: My dog is 12 lbs. Didn't think that that was considered medium.

I would definitely recommend this grooming business to others. I was in the market for a new…read moregroomer and happened to run into this business at the farmers market. The owners are very sweet and helpful. I love that they can get me in quickly especially with my crazy schedule. I also LOVE that the groomer focuses on ONE dog at a time so my dog isn't waiting for her grooming in a kennel for HOURS like she used to. He took about two hours to wash and groom my Pomeranian. She was a bit nervous at first but he said he would take things slow with her and go at her own pace which gave me peace of mind. I also love that he is helping me restore my baby's coat since she was previously shaved down by a previous groomer (big no no for poms). He used a stem cell therapy conditioner to help with the growth and let me tell ya.... Her hair is still very soft DAYS after the grooming. I cannot wait to see the results long term. He seems very educated when it comes to dog hair too, he had mentioned having a background in esthetics. I would also like to mention that he is very affordable compared to others. I will definitely be returning and recommending him to friends & family. The standard grooming includes double deep conditioning (soaking in conditioner before and after bath) a full brush and blow out, and scissoring of the body shape, legs, potty areas, as well as teeth, ears and nail trimming and buffing.

When mini was ready to be picked up, she sent us the cutest picture of her and when we picked her up I was so pleased with how she looked! Natasha gave us a training tip to help with her next grooming, ways to train the calics in her hair, and also recommended stuff to put in her ears because they were a little yeasty. You can tell that Natasha loves what she does, and that she truly cares for the animals she grooms. 10/10 would recommend her!

She's a 13 year old rescued Pekingese with a a long coat, and every groomer we tried in Fresno left her scared, exhausted, or with a bad cut. It wanted to give up. Then I found Lux Pup on social media and something just clicked. Clarissa's authenticity came through immediately and I could tell she genuinely loves dogs and knows what she's doing. The mobile setup meant Edith would be groomed at home, one on one, with no chaos or waiting around all day. Clarissa also taught me more about Pekingese coats in one appointment than I'd learned in years. I had no idea keeping her coat long actually protects her in the heat! Now we're working together to grow Edith back to her full length, which makes me so happy. We already have our next appointment booked. After a really rough stretch of bad experiences, we finally found our home. If you have a senior dog or an anxious dog or just a dog who deserves a groomer who actually cares, this is it.
