Shortly after the blanket insurance disaster, I asked about bonding. I had been filling out numerous applications for work as a subcontractor and constantly came across the questions of my bonding capacity. I also was laying out a lot of cash for Bid bonds. After another ridiculous wait and an e-mail to the VP, I was contacted by Rue's "bonding expert." He informed me that the process to achieve bonding was long tedious and wouldn't be worth it until it was required by a prime contractor. I took that advice to be true and continued to fill out applications telling companies that my bonding capacity was unknown or never required. Well I wasn't receiving any quote requests from them. Union County CDC just recently put on a bonding seminar which I attended. The bonding specialist of McCue Captains Insurance Agency explained how simple it was to obtain bonding and that it was only a short form and credit check involved which was contrary to what I was told by Rue. So I requested this form from McCue and it was sent to me. I filled it out and for no cost I now have a $300,000.00 bonding capacity. For months I had been telling prime contractors that I did not know my bonding capacity and possibly losing work and income. So for the third time Rue Insurance has let me down and another of their highly recommended people has been proven ignorant. I am having my insurance moved to another agency. My advice to anyone who needs insurance is to run away from Rue as fast as you can. They suck! read more

I have been a client for many years--probably 25--and every year the customer service gets better and better. The manager, Casi, works hard to find the best priced policy to suit my requirements (auto, 2 homes, flood, umbrella, etc) and ensures that claims are handled promptly and fairly. When the insurance companies fail to respond promptly or fairly, I know that the Rue staff advocate on my behalf. A really strong insurance agent--I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I had a problem with my renewal on my car insurance policy. It went up tremendously. I was shocked. Mindy went to bat for me with the insurance provider and was able to get things fixed.
