i recently got a fine-line tattoo from Dale at Sickle and Moon, and unfortunately, its my first…read moref-ed up tattoo. i already have six healed fine-line tattoos and have done all the right aftercare, including with this tattoo. despite that, the ink has healed extremely patchy, with multiple areas already missing ink entirely. also, the tattoo barely looks like the reference picture and now i need to have my artist back home correct it once it's fully healed, which will cost me an additional $100-$200 on top of the $100 i already paid. on top of all that, dale was extremely rude during my appointment. i wanted to adjust the placement of the stencil slightly, so we moved it about half an inch to align it better with the anatomy of my wrist. he visibly seemed annoyed by this, and i actually apologized for asking to move it. his response was, "maybe you should be more communicative." which was a completely unnecessary and rude comment, especially considering i was simply trying to make sure i was happy with the placement of a permanent tattoo. i chose Sickle and Moon because of its good reviews, which makes this experience even more shocking and disappointing. i went in expecting a professional experience and a great new tattoo, and unfortunately, i left with neither.
