We ended up visiting the food truck 2-3 times during our trip because we trusted the quality of what was being served. The one thing I can say that I was disappointed with was their sauces. A bit ironic, as it's in the name but they were extremely underwhelming. We ended up using sauces we had saved from other spots. I still highly recommend trying them as their food was very good!

It's one thing to swing into a classy restaurant or belly up to a fine bar stool, but sometimes an old coot just wants a bun in one hand and the smell of grill smoke on his boots. That's where Brown Bagger delivers the goods, and then some. I pulled up to that truck on a sun‑soaked afternoon, and there was this fella let's call him Big Mike on the flattop slinging patties like he was born flipping 'em. Big Mike didn't just make my double Wagyu smash; he gave me a PhD in burger philosophy between laughs. "You ever notice," he said while slapping that sizzling meat like a pro wrestler body‑slamming a bad guy, "a burger's only as honest as the fist that builds it?" I tell ya what that man could sell sand in the desert and make you thank him for it. He stacked cheese, grilled onions, and that signature Bagger Sauce onto that bun with the sort of focus you usually only see from surgeons and ex‑wives signing divorce papers. Those burgers? Forget just good they're the kind of juicy, salty, glorious mess that makes you smack your lips and swear solemn oaths you never thought you'd swear in public. Smash‑style wagyu patties, fresh fixings, and just enough attitude to remind you that this? This is the golden era of eating food trucks parked next to bars, cold beer close at hand, and a butcher's apron of stories to take home with ya. So if you find yourself in Pensacola with a hankerin' for something that'll make you slap your knee and grin like a mule eatin' briars, roll your way over to the Brown Bagger. It ain't just a burger it's a roadside sermon in a bag, preached by a man who knows his beef and your funny bone. Amen.

I was seated in the middle of the bar with customers on both sides of me. My server took my drink and food order, and after that, she never returned to check on me. I watched her walk past me several times while attending to the customers directly to my left and right. Not once did she ask how my food was, whether I needed another drink, a box, or my check. Eventually, another server noticed my frustration and asked if I needed anything. I told him I needed a box and my check and explained that my server had never returned to check on me. His response was, "We are all working the bar." That response was unnecessary and dismissive. If everyone was working the bar, it makes it even more confusing that I sat there for so long without anyone checking on me. A simple, "I'm sorry about that. Let me take care of you," would have been the appropriate response. I understand restaurants get busy, and I don't expect perfection. However, basic attentiveness and customer service should be expected, especially when a customer is sitting directly at the bar. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing.

Ate here recently. Renovation looks fantastic! Our meals were not. I ordered the Smokey Mountain chicken as I always do and my daughter ordered the ribeye. My meal came with a Caesar salad. What I received was warm romain lettuce with what seemed to be mayonnaise based dressing. After two bites I pushed it aside. Our appetizer was the queso dip. It looked appetizing but tasted like beef broth. No cheese flavor which is strange because it's a cheese dip. Our main courses came out. My chicken was 50% fat and the meat was not chicken! I could not tell you what it was besides the possibility that it was some sort of substitute for chicken . Couldn't finish it. My daughters ribeye was ordered medium rare. And usually it will be quite tender ordering it this way and it was cooked properly to the temp she wanted, but she could barely cut through it no matter which way she tried. The service was excellent. No complaints. Ambience fantastic, no complaints. Just didn't enjoy the food. And to top it off, didn't feel well when I got home. Sorry new Ruby Tuesdays. Just can't come back after that. read more

I was just served a RAW Hamburger at Ruby Tuesday on Navy Blvd in Pensacola. Actually, I didn't realize you could serve raw meat at a Restaurant. I asked to speak with the Manager (Greg Cabrera) to see if I should just order a new burger as Medium- instead of Medium Rare. His response that he would not allow me to order another Burger at the restaurant since they have messed up my order so many times in the past. I asked why would he Punish me for his staff not being Properly Trained how to cook a Burger? He did refund my money back to me. The photo shows this burger is RAW Meat. Yes, the Manager agreed it was not cooked Medium Rare and that it came out Rare, Very Rare, but still refused to allow me to order another Burger at HIS Restaurant.
